Lew's Mach 1 spinning reel needed attention right out of the box
The reel right out of the box was very stiff and would not glide on its own. After reading another review I disassembled the reel and gave it a thorough lubrication. I don't know what was causing the problem but when the reel was reassembled it was a different reel. It was so smooth and glided on its own. Thanks to a previous reviewer, I am very pleased with my purchase.
