Net VIP WIFI Repeater for Windows 10 users, works great for 1 month
Setting up the device wasn't that easy that I thought it would be. Please be aware of all Windows 10 users, you may have to set up a mobile hotspot in order to use this device. When I entered the 192.168,10.1 into the address bar and after entering the user name and password, I chose repeater. What should happen next is your original Home WIFI should show up (to extend your new router), however, the page was empty and the search circle was spinning. I searched online and found out that I could try to set up a mobile hotspot in order to be detected by the extended router and with that, I was able to set up the repeater. However, after one month, it stopped working. I have done everything, including reset etc, nothing! I have now to buy a new one! Shame!

Internet slower when using it
Had it for 6 months. Got a 4G router one end of the house (where signal is best), this in the middle, main internet usage at the other end of the house. And it just didn't really do anything. We thought it was faster at first but noticed a much higher ping so after a few months we stopped using it, moved the 4G router closer to the usage point, and suffered slower speeds (due to a reduced 4G signal) but more consistency. Our internet has been slow all week so yesterday we moved the router back to the peak signal area and tried to get this thing working again. We were getting 5 mbps a few metres from the extender. So we connected up to the original router and stood next to it, 45 mbps. At the other end of the house, 25 mbps. We then reconnected to the extender, moved it about a few places, around some walls, moving the aerials, and it hovered about 20 mbps peak but with double the ping.4G signals vary a lot so I did another test this morning. The extender is about midway between the router, and the test point.Connecting directly to the router: Download 10.07 mbps, upload 8.38 mbps, ping 38msConnecting via the extender: Download 7.14mbps, upload 5.49, ping 131ms.It's just a waste of materials and money.

It works very well, would recommend
I needed this like most people I'm guessing because the internet is poor where they are. So, I bought this because 1) it was cheap 2) it came in next day deliveryFirstly, I wasn't to sure it was working, although the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Second, I realised after I set it up that is is not like other booster and you do NOT connect to it, it simply boosts the signal.I have attached a photo with the speed of my internet after I plugged it in. In context, my signal on my PC was averaging 2-5Mbs. What a massive improvement.I would definitely recommend, but I've given in 4 stars as the sign in feels slightly dodge.

buyer beware! ethernet port broke after using it a few times with a ethernet cable!
after a few uses of using a ethernet cable, the ethernet port broke , from just using a cat7 ethernet cable when this should not be the case! a port should not break if used for its intended use, amazon has issued me a refund! i do not want a replacement of this item, as for £14 i should io expected better quality! poorly manufactured and feels too cheap. amazon customer services was very helpful and issued me a refund without the need of return, due to covid-19 and i have high risk family members. utter rubbish! i would reccomend you go elsewhere if you want to use the ethernet port.

Hunk of junk
It seemed so simple with instructions really easy to follow yet despite following the instructions (several times) and several times getting it to connect with my wifi none of my devices would connect to it. I've now tried resetting the repeater too many times that I can remember and now can't connect to it even through its default wifi address, despite it tantalisingly appearing in the wifi list with a strong signal. I'd return it but don't know where to send it.

Struggles to achieve a wifi signal only a room away!
Arrived on time, easy to setup but it does not increase the Wifi signal as I was expecting, being an engineer I was disappointed so I cant recommend this item.

Great product!
Amazing, live in a ground floor Victorian house in London, very thick walls. Daughters bedroom is at the back of the house and was getting sketchy reception with our old booster. Now, is running Alexa, lap top and a smart TV (not sure why!). Anyway, great product and excellent price. You occasionally get a drop in reception but hey, 1st world problems...

Does the job
Makes a lot more of a different if you use a wired connection from the booster to the device. You get what you pay for with this product
