Good for the price
For two years I had this amazing, chubby cat who would sleep on me. It didnโt matter how I laid, she would find a way to make herself comfortable and sleep on me. She unexpectedly passed away sadly. Not only am I heart broken, I struggled with sleep. My body had grown so accustomed to having some form of weigh, sleep was near impossible. After several nights of trying different things to get me to sleep, barely surviving work and parenthood, I decided to try out a weighted blanket. You see, this isnโt my first adventure with a weighted blanket. Based on my size, I was told a 12-15 lb blanket was good. So I got a 12 lb blanket and let me tell you, I thought I was going to be crushed from the weight of this blanket and my cat sleeping on me. I ditched it and never looked back until now. I am about 115 lbs and 5โ3โ. I decided on a 10 lb blanket (about the same weight as my cat) and admittedly went on the cheaper side in case I hated it. Well good news is, I donโt hate it. Itโs comfortable, not too heavy, just the right size for me. It isnโt a cure all by any means but it has helped. I went from waking up multiple times at night to 1-2 times which is a win for me. It feels like a blanket hug. For the price, itโs a good blanket.

Makes all the difference!
I have really bad insomnia due mostly to PTSD nightmares but i refuse to take any sort of sleeping pills (they create more issues than they solve) so Iโve tried basically everything over the years & have learned a lot about sleep patterns/issues. First make sure your bedding is all natural, meaning cotton & only cotton! Donโt fall for the scam that is microfiber - itโs just a fancy word for polyester which is the absolute worst thing for you to sleep on. Second invest in a quality mattress and lastly get a weighted blanket!! This makes all the difference for me, I feel so much more relaxed and comfortable under it, it makes me feel like a little kid being perfectly tucked in at night by my mom, itโs like a big hug (super cheesy but itโs true!) โฆ. The only negative thing I can say is that as someone who makes their bed daily itโs a pain in the butt because you canโt throw it around or fluff it up like a duvet but the benefits far outweigh this one annoyance (pun intended)

Bordering on life-changing
This may be the best purchase I've ever made, on Amazon or anywhere else. It's too big for my bed, dimensionally, but still stays where it needs to just fine; and the weight is perfect, since I'm a bigger person - and I sleep SO much better and more consistently than before. The construction of the blanket is solid and durable; and it surprised me how cool it stays - I don't overheat, even though it's so heavy. And in addition to better quality and consistency of sleep, it helps a lot with nervous system regulation, and a sense of safety while sleeping - I nearly cried the first night I used it, it was such a relief. I'm so, so, SO glad I bought this!!

Toasty and Noisy.
At 15lbs, the weight was good. It felt snug, and the cotton fabric wasn't abrasive to my skin. However, this blanket, being made of cotton, is NOT a cooling weighted blanket, which I initially thought it was. So I ordered another blanket made of Microfiber (Nylon & Polyester), and tried the two out for a few nights independent of one another. This blanket does retain a lot of body heat. If you're after a cooler blanket of the same weight, the Drewin Microfiber weighted cooling blanket will work better, since the materials are more breathable and retain less heat than the RelaxBlanket weighted blanket. It is worth noting that the glass beads of this blanket are NOT stationary. They're as big as a grain of sand. As you shift in the blanket, you will hear a noise like ocean waves crashing on a beach as they shift in each sewn square to move to whatever contour your body takes on. This doesn't enhance the 'hugging' effect of the blanket. But if you're sensitive to noise or a light sleeper, this blanket IS going to be noisy for you. The blanket can leave you and the sheets with a slight gritty feel. I'm not sure why. But I do know that if & when this thing pops a hole, it's going to be like sleeping on bare desert ground. All-in-all, I do like that it does retain more heat than the other blanket I'd gotten, the Microfiber one. I'll be using this one during winter months, since it should be fairly comfortable against the lower temps. I also like that the blanket is made of cotton, too. I can't stand fleece and sherpa blankets. So, although this may not be the cooling, weighted blanket I'd hoped it would've been, it's still a very valid option. 4-Stars. Not bad.~ :D

Looking For Your First Weighted Blanket...
I had been looking for a weighted blanket. I knew Iโd probably like it from sleeping with a heavy comforter. The problem with the heavy comforter was the heat build up over the night. Iโd wake up at 3am sweating. Additionally, I have some allergies to certain synthetics that I deal with, so I wanted to find a weighted blanket which would not hold in heat, that I would not react to, was built reasonably well, was not $200, and weighed about 20 pounds. After spending several nights searching through amazon and other websites, I came across the RelaxBlanket. For $46, I figured Iโd give it a shot. Even though I knew it was 20 pounds, it really didnโt register what life with a 20 pound blanket would be like. There are some adjustments you make in your habits, for example you donโt just whip the corner of the covers over to climb into to bed. Also, I decide when I sleep on my back, I donโt like the weight on my toes so I moved the blanket up a bit. These things will be true with all weighted blankets. I do seem to be sleeping better. Today was the first day I didnโt have to get up early, I found it much easier to stay in bed and fall back asleep after waking up at my weekday time. I do not overheat with this blanket. Itโs significantly cooler than the comforter. I have not noticed any manufacturing defects and no beads are falling out. If you donโt want to spend $100-$200 on a weighted blanket, I highly recommend this one. I may even purchase a second one. The 60x80 size works good for my half of a king size bed, just enough excess where you donโt feel like limbs are poking out from under the blanket.

100% recommend for RLS and PLMD
I got this as a Christmas present. This last week has been amazing. I have both restless limbs and periodic limb movement disorder along with sleep apnea, my entire life. I am chronically sleep-deprived in a life-altering way. Meds work for the RLS, but due to the PLMD and the side-effects of my RLS meds (muscle weakness that feels very odd and keeps me awake unless I'm in a fetal position), I have always slept curled in a very tight ball, bracing against involuntary movements that hurt or weird sensations that will wake me up. It's the only option I've had to be able to stay asleep for more than 30 minutes at a time, but it's such hard work for my body that it just replaces one kind of poor sleep for another. I usually wake up with muscle soreness and fatigue, as if I've been running a marathon all night. This blanket is HEAVY, but it feels great. I can extend my limbs out straight and totally relax my muscles. The blanket holds my arms and legs totally still without my muscles and joints having to do any work. I'm waking up so refreshed and loose-limbed, I feel like I've been sleeping for days. I have way less back pain and sciatica, and I'm getting great restorative and REM intervals according to the sleep tracker watch I wear. My sleep apnea index has even improved. I've only had it for a short time, I can't wait to see the long-term benefits and I will never go back to using an unweighted blanket. Brilliant product, well made and it really, really works for me.

Nice and Heavy
The blanket was wonderful and my girlfriend loved it. the color was verry nice for the green just like the photos. felt very heavy and secure. it was a little large for the area but after folding it in half it fit great. After not having one for so long it made a verry good gift.

Sooo good!!
I love this weighted blanket! It's nice and heavy I ordered the 30 pound king size and it's glorious. The glass beads are a nice touch for multiple reasons, the first being the obvious; they weigh it down perfectly! The second is that glass will heat up with your body temperature the longer it is in contact with you! It starts off nice and cooling and warms up as you lay under it. I kind of wish it stayed cool but I'll get a cooling blanket for the summer. Really feels like you're being cuddled. Helps relieve my anxiety at night. Just what I wanted.

It is great
As advertised the 20lb blanket has even weight distribution, nothing loose swishing around and IMO is perfect for my 6'2", 213lbs needs. I no longer wake up in the middle of the night as it stays put, your not searching around for your blanket/covers. Not overly warm, beaths well. I was advised there is a swaddling effect (as used on newborns) this blanket gives, could be! Will recommend to friends and family as this is a great price for a quality product that is useful.

For kids relaxation ๐
We bought the RelaxBlanket Kids Weighted Blanket (40 in) for our child, and it has made a big difference in their sleep. They used to grind their teeth at night, but since using this blanket, they seem more relaxed and the grinding has reduced noticeably. The weight is evenly distributed and feels like a gentle hug, which helps calm their body and mind before bed. The soft fabric is very cozy, and the size is perfect for kids. It also helps them fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. If your child has trouble sleeping, anxiety, or even tooth grinding from stress, this blanket is a great natural solution. Weโre very happy with it and definitely recommend.
