SheaMoisture Bar Soap for Troubled Skin African Black Soap -- I use this soap to clean my head and hair before I shampoo my hair. The soap is large, so I cut off a piece of soap, and hold a smaller piece inside the palm of my hand. Thereafter, I wet the soap with warm water before I wash my head and hair for more lather. Yes, you will have lots of lather. I enjoy the sweet smell, cleanness, and softness of the Shea Butter. Also, I like the soap's benefits, which are provides faster hair growth, a spiritual head cleaner, deep scalp hydration, calms dry-skin irritation with anti-inflammatory properties, and seals moisture into coarse or curly hair strands to prevent breakage.

This soap is very moisturizing, lathering and seems to have natural ingredients used in it. The soap lasts a long time. I highly recommend using this for hot days after you’re outside all day. It really helps prevent acne! Can be used for face or body.

I bought this SheaMoisture African Black Soap for Troubled Skin for my son’s acne and it really helps. He’s been using it as his daily face and body cleanser, and we’ve noticed fewer breakouts and less irritation. His skin feels cleaner but not stripped or dry, thanks to the shea butter. The bar lathers nicely, lasts a long time, and has a mild, natural scent. It’s gentle enough for everyday use and has become a staple in his routine. Great natural option for troubled skin. This black soap is the best product by far ( for me ) that I have found. I have super sensitive skin ( worse in the summer) , eczema, itchy, heat rash skin. I have use more that 10 products of all sorts. None have came close to calming the eczema down. It take a few washes to where u can see that it is working.. I had it bad ..On a scale 1 to 10 mine was at fist about a 9 / 8 1/2 .. now it is about a 2 .. much more bearable I can sleep though to night.. Mine is the so I know it will not totally go away. But at least now .. I don't feel like I have a really bad sunburn .. Because any one who has any form/ level of eczema know how miserable u feel . Don't hesitate to talk to yr health provider first.. I was just seeking something more natural. I don't do well with Med 's . I have bought 4 bars of this soap.. Gave 1 to family members. Who ever invented this soap must be a suffer of skin Issues too. It really works. Has a nice light scent. Don't be turn off by color of soap.

Word of warning, this is not real African black soap. So if you're looking for the real deal, move on elsewhere. I've gone to the dermatologist regularly for "typical" acne that was always kept under control by prescription products. In my early 20s, I developed cystic acne around my jawline due to my hormones going out of whack. I was prescribed some pills and sulfuric-based facial wash. That face wash made me gag and tear up, literally, every time I used it. And it seemed to have been making my acne worse! On a whim, I bought this product. I've seen people rave about it online so I decided to try it. The first time I used it, my face felt very soft and clean. I used it twice a day, along with witch hazel, and I would say that within 4-5 months, the cystic acne went away. I still get the occasional pimple and I wouldn't say that my skin is now super clear. But I don't get any big pimples anymore, just a small one here and there. I can't say that this soap helps much with dark spots though, unfortunately. But aside from that, I think this soap is wonderful! Based on other reviews, it's clear that it's not for everyone though. So use at your own risk. I do have a couple of tips. Sometimes when I wear heavy makeup, I feel like this soap doesn't do as good of a job of cleaning my face if I use solely my hands to clean. That's when a facial cleansing brush comes into play. I use a big knife to cut the soap up into 6 pieces. I find the small pieces easier to use and more hygienic. I wrap up the pieces I'm not using yet with parchment or wax paper and place it inside a Ziploc bag. I place the soap on top of a soap saver to keep it dry and not slimy-feeling. It can leave a black residue but just wipe it away with water and it goes away. Overall, I am a fan of this product. After about 1.5 years of use of simple soap and witch hazel, my skin is looking really pretty darn good! So great job, Shea Moisture! I am still a big proponent of going to a dermatologist and letting them handle whatever skin issues ails you though... Haha.

Works for dry heels. I wash my feet with this soap and it helps heal dry heels.

Sale care pero utilizo una pastilla al año. Es un todo en uno para la ducha, cuerpo y pelo sin problemas. Aunque el cabello solo lo limpio con jabón una vez a la semana o así. Huele cremoso, a todo el mundo que coge la pastilla y la huele le enamora.

Omg!! I know a few people said “this isn’t the REAL African black soap” but I thought I know this brand and as a newbie to this, I felt safe ordering it and I’m sooooo sooo glad I did - ever since I’ve been on my contraceptive pill (about 4 years now) my skin went mental and i now suffer from adult hormonal acne - I’ve tried millions of regimes, diets and products and spend hundreds but Sadly have never gotten amazing results - I decided to go back to my roots and had see many girls of my ethnicity raving about this soap and how it “cured” acne and so I decided to test this in my cleansing routine and within a week of using this my skin for the first time in years looks amazing and smooth - the dark spots and bumps are fading and my skin overall looks healthy and I’ve gotten many compliments on how it looks glowy now too! Some tips / facts for anyone who wants to buy this: 1. It smells amazing 2. Cut it up into dices as it’s a fat bar and you don’t need to use it all and it will last forever 3. As it’s quite strong - I use it once every night followed by a small amount of tea tree face wash 4. This bar will last a long time Overall this is 10/10 and I hope it carry’s on working for me! Ich habe mir diese Seife nach langer Recherche von Erfahrungen bestellt, um meine eigenen Erfahrungen zu machen. Hier in Deutschland scheint das Produkt noch nicht ganz so weit verbreitet zu sein, denn ich habe größtenteils Amerikanische Bloggerposts etc. gefunden. Ich benutze diese Seife nun seit knapp zwei Wochen und arbeite sie mit einer elektronischen Gesichtsbürste ein und Pflege die Haut danach mit Aloe Vera Gel. Mein Hautbild hat sich stark verändert : feiner, reiner und nicht mehr so fettig. Die Haut fühlt sich sauber und gepflegt nach dem Waschen an. Der Duft erinnert irgendwie an Banane, aber keinesfalls unangenehm. Es scheint, als würde die Seife lange halten, da ich nach 2 Wochen täglicher Anwendung morgens und abends lediglich eine kleine Ecke des Stücks gebraucht habe. Klare KAUFEMPFEHLUNG !
