Taste is different from genmaicha's, just different, not better or worse.And, per headline: It's a high price for a mix of rice and tea. The $/oz price would be typical for 100% tea, but rice is cheap and should have brought the overall price down.

Loved it but a tad pricey.

This is the real deal and a crucial ingredient if you want to cook Isaan food (north-eastern Thai food). It can be had much cheaper in Thailand itself, but heck the ticket to get there is not cheap either, so this is the next best solution.

Smells great—true roasted rice aroma. Will not be using though, because bag has a big hole in the front. Makes sense that some food items cannot be returned, but it is really lame that the item cannot be replaced at least.
