My husband seen these while on vacation in Tennessee, I found this one on Amazon for $300 less plus free shipping. It works great, there is a odor once it's turned off and sets but I solved that by buying Dial Evaporator Cooler Tabs..

It's really designed for low humidity locations. I live in the Northwest where the humidity is moderate, I sent it to my grandson in Las Vegas. He loves it.

I was looking for a swamp cooler, and saw this at a discounted price. Since it had so much more power than anything else at the price, I bought it. I saw in the description that it was meant for patios but I thought I'd try it inside the house anyways. It cools well but puts out a lot of humidity, even with a screen window fully open.
