I highly recommend this product, as I have had the Sink Shroom for over 5 years, and it works very well at catching all hairs that try to go down the drain, and I have never lost an adapter when pulling the unit out of the drain. I just wish the drain holes on the column were a little larger because the spit and slime build up very quickly, and the sink doesn't drain and I have to clean the Shroom every 4-5 days despite very little hair buildup, and the slime has to be scrubbed off using spray cleanser and an old toothbrush, as it won't just rinse off. Just make sure you have rubber gloves handy for this nasty job!

The 'Shroom products are all very good and this is no exception. Since it is stainless steel, it doesn't get stained or as nasty as the other version. It is easy to install and catches hair on the rubber gasket making it very easy to clean by simply pulling it out and wiping it off. It is a very simple but effective product that I highly recommend. If you are unsure how to remove your sink drain stopper: 1) Place the edge of a towel under the stopper inside the sink. Be careful to use something large enough that it will not go down the drain. This will make removal of the sink stopper easier. 2) Under the sink beneath the faucet, you will see a thin metal rod coming down. This lift rod is the mechanism that moves your drain stopper up and down. The lift rod is connected to a horizontal rod called the pivot rod located near the top of the drain assembly. The pivot rod is attached to the bottom of the sink stopper inside the drain. 3) The lift rod is typically connected to the pivot rod by either a small clamp with a thumb screw or a V-shaped strip of metal with holes in it, known as a spring clamp. Either unscrew the thumb screw or squeeze the spring clamp until you can remove it from the pivot rod. Once removed, the lift rod will not be attached to anything and you should be able to remove the stopper from the sink by wiggling it a bit to free it from the pivot rod. (Note: if you did not put something under the stopper as indicated in step one, the stopper will be flush with the drain and you may have to pry the stopper up to remove it) 4) Now check that the rubber gasket attached to the bottom of the Sink Shroom is the same width as your drain. If not use another of the other provided gaskets so it fits snuggly in the drain. That's it!

My usual sink stopper stopped working with the plunger. I didn’t like how it looked no matter how I cleaned it so I went looking for a strainer. I found this and it is perfect. I like that. It has the shape of a metal mushroom so that when I pushed it down, it is flush with the drain hole. It’s not going anywhere. It comes with 3 adapters to ensure a good fit. I have had no problem with water flow but if I encounter any issues, I can just pull it up quickly. I accidentally bought the tub version and learned really quickly that it will not fit a bathroom sink, so make sure you check the name, a second time before ordering.

Perfect remedy to a missing plunger/drain mesh! Simply drop it in.....SUPER easy to clean. Great value to be able to replace often if necessary for sanitary purposes. Lightweight but reliable.

I don't use the stopper in my bathroom sink, but i had to clean it occasionally. There was always hair caught in it, so when I had the pipe replaced under the sink I needed a new drain cover. I looked at a lot of different styles. I decided to try the sink shroom, even though it was slightly more expensive. It comes with two other sizes of "catchers" that can be switched out so it will fit any size bathroom sink drain. The stainless top has enough perforations so water flows easily through it. The top sits about half an inch above the drain on the legs that form the top so there's no chance of losing it down the drain. I think it also has a nice appearance. I pulled it out after a couple days and I was surprised to find a few strands of hair caught in it already. So I think the Sink Shroom is worth the price and I recommend it.

Excellent produit TOUT en métal, sauf la partie noire qui attrape parfaitement les cheveux. Fini les tuyaux bouchés et les cheveux visibles dans l'évier. De plus la partie en métal ronde du dessus est très jolie. Avec ses "rondelles noires", il peut s'adapter à différent diamètre de tuyau. J'ai testé uniquement lavabo SDB: parfait.

Sicuramente non è esteticamente bello, ma cattura in modo molto efficace i capelli ed eventuali peli. La differenza con altri tipi di prodotti più economici, è notevole.

Well made and functions excellent with great design. Easy to remove for cleaning and easy to reinstall. I used the largest silicone adapter for my sink. Does not noticeable impede flow and some top shape spreades flow nicely to clearing sink of and debris.

Fiquei muito em dúvida sobre comprar, pois o preço é bastante alto. Mas não me arrependi. O ralo do meu banheiro é uma válvula de 1 1/4", aquelas de banheiras antigas. Encaixou perfeitamente. Fiz vários testes Pega fios de cabelos curtos e muito curtos. Estou até pensando em comprar mais um protetor desses quando estiver na promoção, para deixar de reserva aqui. Vale a pena cada real gasto. Vale todos os prêmios que receberam.
