Bosch2607010079 Anti-splintering device (5 Piece)

I was disappointed when my new Bosch PST 700E Jigsaw did not include one of these.I consider this is an essential item as it improves the cut on the top surface and also helps is visibility.The pack of five will last a lifetime.

Annoying little critters, in that you miss them when they're not there, but don't always appreciate them as you perhaps might when they are! They do keep splintering down, but equally importantly (for me at least) provide a visual steer when following a straight line with a jigsaw. As an item, the material means that they almost have built in obsolescence, being immediately prone to 'chewing' from a blade in use making me wonder if a durable metal equivalent couldn't be engineered, with a little thought..

Perfect to replace the broken one. Excellent value for money as there were several in the pack. They are great for keeping in a straight line.

I bought this pack of 5 anti-splinter as the one provided with my jigsaw broke.It is really helpful to have it to avoid splinters and make the cut neatThe cons: it breaks really easily and now I get why it is so cheap to replace it

Used one this weekend and it made a big difference. The wood no longer splinters. Its very easy to attach too.
