Concept is spot on. However, the clip doesn't even fit a normal size loaf of bread. I still have a little of the bread bag hanging out. Just need about a cm or 2, and I think it would fit a standard loaf bag. Looks sturdy. I've been using it for about a month now, with no issues, except that listed above in my review. Every time I buy bread or anything with the standard bread clip or twist tie, I toss it out and put this on. One caveat, though. If you have arthritis, this is a definite "no." It will be difficult for you to squeeze the clip.

I hated those twisty tie and plastic wedge type bread bag closures. Clumsy to use, and hard to find if I dropped it on the floor or even our countertop. So, THANK YOU to the genius who invented these nifty little things. Easy to use, too big to lose, airtight seal AND they're pretty! What more could you ask for in a product. They could be used for any small plastic bag you need to close up tight. We only need a couple so I'll be introducing these to my friends - you get 12 of them for less than 10 bucks!

I have used all kinds of things and clips over the years and this is the first time I have seen something that actually seems designed for the purpose. Usually things are either recycled from another purpose or designed to be cheap while also almost accomplishing the task. It is odd I am so excited about something so simple but good design is worth being celebrated. It is solidly built, easy to use, not too expensive, and works great.

I am so glad I found these. I dislike having to use twist ties. I'm always misplacing those plastic disks that come on baked goods. These are the perfect solution. I've started using them on my bags of frozen veggies which is a god send since the 'resealable' seals don't always work for me. I like the fun colors too which is nice with white counter tops.

If you, like me, are constantly saving those tie wires from your bread purchases, this is the item for you! It's easy to use and does the job very well. I even used it on a stacked cracker bag that has almost no room to use a tie wire and it is working great! The only place where I can see any possible failure would be the spring, but only after long usage - probably years. I purchased one set, but I might get more since I'm using them everywhere.

Bought these to replace the cardboard bread ties that we've started seeing. I get the need to reduce single-use plastics, so I'm okay with the new ties, but they're quite useless in terms of reclosing the bag repeatedly over the life of a loaf of bread. These have been great! Easy to use (though a little bit hard for my 7-year old) for items in the pantry and in the freezer. They hold a bread or bagel bag (or similar) but don't expect to use them on thicker plastic bags (like the bags in cereal or cracker boxes, or chip bags) as they're too small for that. Not a problem for us since that's not what we bought them for. Docked 1 star for sturdiness because one of the 12 is faulty and doesn't open all the way (I don't know if the spring isn't properly lined up inside or something). They seemed a little pricey, but definitely worth it in our house.

Very impressed. Good price so I gave them a try, quality and feel of the clips exceed expectations. Seems like quality plastic and the moment of the spring is smooth. Holds a tight grasp and is quick and easy to use. Would definitely buy again

Opening not wide enough

These clips are great! We used up the first 12 so I ordered another 12! Way better than fumbling with plastic tags that never fit back on the bag and those twist ties that are just an exercise in frustration to remove. Both my hubby and I love these clips!
