i thought i had this detector turned off laying in car seat but had just turned it way down and mostly had declared the detector as a junk toy, driving home at dark a deer stepped in front of my car the detector squealed and out of reaction i braked hard. apparently the deer had a tracking collar on. had the detector not seen the signal from what i assume was a tracking collar i would have had serious damage, my eyes would not have seen the deer far enough away to get stopped in time. i am very glad i bought the detector. not its intended purpose but it worked out and saved my car and the deer.

This thing is just annoying, it beeped while almost touching a ledge bulb, it beeped while touching the glass housing on the light fixture. The bulb is not smart, led only so what? In top of that print a label and get a box cause it ain’t going back to Amazon

It worked pretty well for me and was helpful in finding some test cameras I had. It is important that you are patient and learn how it works. It's not all that difficult but it's not going to just immediately work out of the box most likely for you if you don't understand the sensitivity setting and how to scan a room. Certainly wifi signals such as from routers, phones, laptops, and other devices can give false positives but it's pretty clear when your pointing it near such a device that that device is the source. Scan slowly and adjust sensitivity as needed. Some devices may not always be using wifi every second. I mostly just used the radio scanner functionality but the camera lens detector can work but it's not great in my opinion. The problem is that as you look thru, the bright lights on the front of the device add sort-of a glare for you and your eye as you peek thru. I cover the front with my hands to reduce that glare as I peek thru. You must also be patient when using the lens finder it will only barely make lenses visible if hidden well and lenses behind plastic are not likely to be detected (but that's the same for just about any hidden camera finder out there). You may have to get rather close to any possible lenses too. The room should be dark when looking for lenses. The magnetic field detector didn't really work well for me. It can detect "large" fields it seems but not like little microphones or at least in my experience. It might still help in some cases such as to detect some / certain hardware behind a wall or facade, etc. My advice for the manufacturer or even the seller would be to provide an instruction manual in English -- not directly translated with software, but just pay someone on Fiverr or something to translate and make a new doc for the instructions then include it in the box as well. For that extra small cost and the extra labor to add an English manual to the box, you'll probably get less returns and better reviews. A clear video explaining how to use it would help too.

I've had a couple others that worked good. But this one is a lot better. I tested it on my owen nanny cams, wireless 🎤, and a GPS tracker. It found them with ease and the magnetic field detection is a nice feature that other ones ive had didnt have that option on it. It found a phone in my car I didn't know was there and a baby monitor that my girl hooked up in the bedroom. I recommend this to anyone. Well built, easy to use and the frequency rang is great.

Don’t know how to use this. Instruction are not clear

I was definitely a sceptic when making this purchase. More frequently cameras have gotten easy to hide and the world is getting a little scary. After unwrapping, I put this detector to the test- I didn’t have to walk more than a few steps before it detected my pet cam! This is perfect for bringing places you’re not quite trusting of, such as hotels. This definitely puts my mind at ease.

Out of the box, this device seemed to work well. Found signals in home from front door lock (which is wireless internet electronic) to the thermostat controls (also connected to the internet). Also found the internet wireless router very quickly. My recommendation is to turn off the internet wireless router to greatly reduce rf signals so that you can then search for other rf signal sources. Will use in hotels going forward.
