ASURION 4 Year Home Improvement Protection Plan ($900 - $999.99)

In general, I know that these extra costs warranties are mostly useless. It's an X-trillion dollar industry! However, I thought I was buying a worthy one to extend the 3yr warranty on the portable generator I purchased, PLUS my credit card provider includes a FREE extended warranty after the manufacturer's warranty end. The problem with this warranty is that it runs in conjunction with the manufacturer warranty, plus 1 year. Even if my cc provider did not include a free warranty, this paid warranty would be worth only 1 year!Bottom line, check your cc FIRST for a FREE warranty. Many have them, but people don't read the great benefits of their cc. Even when I want to pay cash, I use my cc, then immediately pay off the cc so my purchase is still through my cc.On the flip side, if the product manufacturer's warranty is short, this *might* be worthy. But if you read up on the extended warranties, you will learn that you are throwing money away. The industry is huge because most products survive without issue.

Purchased the extended warranty from Amazon for an air compressor. Expensive item and knowing that things tend to break shortly after the manufacturer’s warranty has expired, I took a chance. Sure enough 13.5 months after the compressor broke, the manufacturer referred me to a product to repair… it at my cost (oh joy). The folks at Asurion tried to find a local repair shop that met their requirements. Not finding any, they refunded me the cost of the compressor immediately. By the way, make sure you check your junk mail as the refund notice message might be there! Mine was, and I found it days later while looking for the email trail.

I needed to return the product - Jackery solar power generator, but warranty would not permit me to cancel.

Was expecting something tangible, not an electronic warranty. I havent had the need to use it.

Have not had an opportunity to use the warranty yet. but like any warranty I feel a little uncomfortable about it being purchased through the internet. Hopefully they will honor it.

Very happy with fast delivery and the products looks great. I can’t wait to use them. Oil and vinegar for fillers. I have been searching for something like these for sometime. The price is right I feel.

Works hard runs like a champ! Exactly what it says it is. Heavy as expected. Remote start works great. Have run both propane and gas both are great. Controls and switches/breakers are all good will buy again and recommend to others.
