Milwaukee 48-22-0305 6 Inch Folding Jab Saw Compatible with Sawzall Reciprocating Saw Blades (Multi Purpose Blade Included)

I've been looking for a hand type saw for a while, there are many available. I came across this Milwaukee Folding Jab Saw and it's perfect, so easy to use, SAWZALL blades are securely locked into place when in use and also when stored away in it's handle. A convenient Thumb activated pushbutton controls the blade's locking. Changing a blade is also easy, on the opposite side is a spring loaded slider, push this and the blade is released. To install a blade, just push this spring loaded slider and put a blade in, release the slider and the blade is securely in the jab saw. The saw's mechanism looks like it will accept any SAWZALL blade, however, only the shorter 6-inch blades will fold back into the handle. So I suppose you could use a longer tree pruning blade to cleanup some trees. There are many different SAWZALL blades available so it would appear as though you could pretty much cut anything, that, you desire!It a great tool, comfortable to hold and easy to use. If you're "On The Fence" spend a little more and get this jab saw, I think it's well worth the price.

I've had cheap disposable hand-saws before and they've always felt wasteful since you can't buy more blades for them. All the while I've had a small case filled with various sawz-all blades. I'm surprised there aren't more products like this one. This saw handle is nicely made of durable plastic with metalic internal working parts. There's a button that allows the blade to open/close like a switch blade, and when it's in either open/closed position it's locked securely in place. I use mine with a metal-cutting blade to clear the crud from between my deck boards (Ipe wood) and this blade handle does exactly what I need.

The "Milwaukee 48-22-0305 6 Inch Folding Jab Saw" is a nice, handy little saw you can carry in your pocket, fold out the Sawzall blade you mounted in it and use, easily. I got it primarily to deal with some woody brush in my backyard that is too thin to justify using a chainsaw, too inconvenient to use a bow saw and too thick to deal with any other way, up to now. This little tool did the job.

I bought this item to saw through an aluminum screw that stripped and could not remove on my bike saddle clamp. The screw was maybe a quarter inch wide. Given the angle I had to work with to not damage my bike, the process took 10 minutes. If I had free range to saw with the whole blade, it would have probably taken only a few minutes. You might not be able to tell from photos or description but there is only ONE blade that comes with this saw and it's supposed to be muli-purpose for different materials (wood, metal, plastic, etc). The blade is removable for replacement and folds into the handle like a pocket knife.

Yeah, this is one of my favorite new tools. It's a must-have for the tool bag.

Great to throw in the tool bag. Compact yet bulky enough of a handle to apply some good force. When I received it I was a little concerned by the plastic handle but I've definitely used this tool hard the last several weeks and it stands up very week. 10/10 will buy another when this one wears out

This saw is my new favorite tool. The handle is very comfortable to hold and makes it easy to control direction for cuts that aren't dead straight. The folding feature allows this saw to be stored much more safely and in in a smaller tool bag.So far the locking mechanism works perfectly, and the no tool blade replacement is very easy to do. You're limited to a 6" blade if you want to fold it, but you can still use it with a longer one. I've not yet tried different blades to check compatibility.This is the best jab saw I've used so far. I'd definitely buy it again.

I swear by milwaukee, but this key hole saw doesn't have the rigidity I was hoping for, it is still awesome that it folds up just as an electrician cutting in recept.s and switches, this isn't a daily beater. Awesome for side job bag.
