What setting do you use in a cricut maker?

Are you referring to the materials settings? Because I just set mine to Natural Wood Veneer.

Can they be laser cut?

I assume yes. I have had people make business cards with them using laser cut engraving so I guess you would just cut deeper to go all the way through.

I know its luck of the draw, but is there a guarantee it will have a certain variety? I need different shades / types of wood..
