At first I was very disappointed with this product. The plastic case (though having some small holes for air) separates the air outside the device from the inside too well, this causes the inside sensor to take temps from inside the thermometer itself rather than the air around the thermometer. This makes it take way longer to get an accurate reading and by the time the thermometer catches up, the temperature of the air has already changed further than the reading. I solved this issue. I took the screws out of the back plate. The components are now bare, this allows them to get correct readings much quicker, (instead of hours) nearly as fast as the update interval. Accuracy is also greatly improved. What was once about a 1.5F average difference was now 0.2-0.5F. They even sync up often! I then used the back plate with a thin strip of thick cardboard to make a stand for the front half. This makes the touch screen risky, but I don't actually need the light or to review the stored data. Message for thermometer designers. Always poke the sensors outside of the case.

I bought my 2 pack in Nov of 2019 (almost 3 years ago). I did note in the item description that there were variances in accuracy. I have a ductless heat/cooling unit for my home, so no thermostat ( a remote control instead). These work perfectly for me to keep the inside temperatures where I want them to be. Both units came with batteries that lasted about the first two years. All digital crystals are still working great and easy to read. No problems with these whatsoever.

Helps me keep my library and studio cool and relatively humidity free. The knowledge that my studio/ library is staying at a controlled temperature and humidity level is of high importance to me and this thermometer keeps both (plus a history) ata glance at all times.

Hard to remove battery panel. Had to use a flathead screw driver and almost broke the panel. Don't know how many times that can happen before the panel is permanently damaged rendering the thermometer useless.

It works great. I'm honestly not sure just how accurate it is because I don't have anything to compare it to, but I know it's good enough for my needs. I get headaches if it's too dry but I'm also afraid of leaving on the humidifier for too long and getting mold. This thermostat helps me manage that. I've come to know the exact humidity range that is comfortable for me and I use this to stay within that range. Honestly I wish I had bought 2 because now I need one for the living room. I will say that the temperature reading seems consistent with another thermometer I have.

I bought this as the one I had from another manufacturer fritzed out when the greenhouse tent I had got super hot and super humid at the same time. Totally my fault, not the device's. But I figured I'd just get a different one anyway, because I didn't like that one's display size. As soon as I got this one I was already pretty thrilled with it. The display is intuitive, with large numbers I can view from a distance, and pretty decent accuracy. The other brand had pretty fast reading on humidity (this one does too), but the temperature wouldn't update quickly. This one updates MUCH faster. I also like that you can have a trailing 24, or all-time setting on the min/max display.Definitely would get this one again, and recommend to anyone looking for a decent meter.

I have another device that does the same as this but a different brand. The readings are virtually exactly the same and change in tandem within seconds of each other but this unit is easier to read and has better backlight. I haven't tested the accuracy of either because the information provided is close enough for my needs. my biggest issue with this brand is that the magnets are not strong enough to hold it's own weight. I want to keep it on my refrig door but it just slides down. the other unit sticks strongly. I've checked this unit on other metal surfaces with the same result, the magnets don't hold the weight of the unit. Other than this I'm happy with the unit and would recommend it. Also the other unit costs $4 more.

This was a replacement for missing items from a different product I had purchased.Amazon went above and beyond to get this issue with the other vendor resolved.I am very impressed with the replacements that AMAZON provided.From all the other Thermometer & Hygrometer I own for my green houses the VIVOSUN have been very precise for over the week I have been using them for.Thanks

The temperature humidity meter is excellent and easy to tead. Batteries last a long time yet there is always a visual to see during the day. And what is revealed at night when click on the temporary light botton to see it at night. Definitely recommend !

The thermometer is wildly inaccurate.When compared to high precision instruments it shows a reading 2-4 degrees higher than actual temperature.Takes at least 1 hour to stabilize after minor temperature changes, and is still not accurate at all.Build quality is very poor - magnets to not support its own weight, and flimsy pop-out stand

I am happy with the product which I mainly use to make sure the humidity level is correct for my plants in my indoor tent. My plants are thriving. The humidity level was too high so armed with this knowledge, I keep the door open to the tent and any browning of the leaves has stopped. Very happy with purchase.

I think I like the product however I do have 2 other humidity readers and they all have different readings so I’m really not sure which one is the most accurate. It is easy to read and the highs and lows in the last 24 hrs is a very cool feature.
