A great everyday polish for heritage boots and casual leather
I've used Lincoln polish for years and have been very happy with it. Most of my use is on heritage-style work boots, particularly pairs with more finished leathers where a little shine helps clean up the appearance without making them look overly formal. For that purpose, this polish has been excellent. I keep both the neutral and brown versions on hand. While both work well, I find myself reaching for the neutral polish more often. In most cases I'm not trying to completely restore color or hide every scuff. I prefer the look that develops from regular wear and use, and the neutral polish does a nice job of refreshing the leather while still allowing that character and patina to show through. What I like: * easy to apply * provides a nice, subtle shine * works well on finished leathers * available in multiple colors * good value for the money One thing I appreciate is that it strikes a good balance between appearance and practicality. It helps boots look maintained and cared for without requiring the kind of effort associated with achieving a true mirror shine. My primary use has been on heritage work boots, including several pairs of Red Wings, where I want the leather to look its best but still retain the character that comes from years of wear. That said, I think it's important to consider the intended use. For casual footwear, work boots, and general leather maintenance, this polish more than meets my needs. If I were maintaining high-end dress shoes and chasing a competition-level shine, I could see myself stepping up to one of the premium specialty polishes designed for that purpose. For everyday leather care, however, Lincoln hits a sweet spot. It's affordable, easy to use, and produces results that look great without overcomplicating the process. If you're looking to keep boots and casual leather footwear looking their best, this is a product I can comfortably recommend.

Terrific USA made shoe polish
This USA made Lincoln shoe polish wax is fabulous. The value for money spent is great, as it does not seem to take as much as the other polishes we have used. It is thick and not brittle, and covers all the scuffs and scratches on my husband’s 25 year old leather boots. So easy to use, and it works really well. Buffed up to a terrific shine. You can see the before and after pictures. The left shoe was polished first, and the right shoe has not been polished yet. And the oxblood color was a perfect match. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend.

Excellent
I’ve been using Lincoln shoe polish on my military boots, and I couldn’t be happier with it. It goes on smoothly, builds up a deep, mirror-like shine with some patience, and leaves a rich black finish that’s inspection-ready. I constantly have people asking what I use or if I’m using “cheater shine” because of how glossy my boots look. They’re always surprised when I tell them it’s just Lincoln polish and some elbow grease. A little goes a long way, so one tin lasts a long time. If you want a polish that can produce an incredible shine, I highly recommend this one.

A good, durable polish. Shines to a deep black color...not the best for high lustre.
Lincoln stain wax is a really good polish. It first of all smells really good, the black is very deep in color and shoes shine to respectable lustre in only a coat or two. The polish holds up better than most when banged around and is more resistant to scuffing and flaking, but in my opinion, Lincoln is not better than Kiwi at producing the jazziest of spit shines. If you are using these on dress shoes with a shoe brush, you will most likely be very satisfied and Lincoln may be a better choice due to its resistance to scuffing; Kiwi is really dainty stuff that scuffs easily. If you are spit shining your shoes and have a decent technique, you will pass inspection and you can go longer between touch-ups. That said, you will have a harder time 'reading the year on a dime in your shoes' with the Lincoln than if you used the other brand. I have both - I use Lincoln about once a week on my every days and reserve Kiwi for a mirror shine top coat when I need to amp up the lustre. This could be a matter of preference and technique as I have seen great looking shoes polished by exclusively Lincoln and exclusively Kiwi. A little polish goes a very long way. The shipper of the Lincoln even included instructions on how to get the polish back to the right consistency to overcome for temperature changes during shipping/storage which I thought was pretty cool. My advice if you need black polished shoes, buy a can of each, a $12 investment once in your lifetime will cover every shoe polish requirement you will likely ever have. (I posted a few quick pictures of my shoes so you can visualize what I described - the shine is good and deep but not quite as mirrored as I can get with a topcoat of Kiwi.) Good luck.

Quality wax
I always polish my shoes. This is the first time I have tried this brand and I am not disappointed with the results. I like the large size and the fact that the lid is a screw type. This is a plus. I am very pleased with the quality of the wax and the results I get from the shine. I ordered neutral and light brown. Pleased with both colors. I plan to always use this brand.

Nice. This is your Oxblood Red polish!
Wow, Oxblood Red. I've owned these boots for several decades. Lately they've been looking sad. Like looking at a huge dent in a beautiful Cadillac. I've got other oxblood polish but this is by far the best. Beautiful.

I've used KIWI exclusively but this stuff is much better
This polish is more of a creamy paste rather than a black crayon like KIWI is. It shines up nicely so it looks like I have a new show polish.

Brilliant shine.
Great polish! After applying the shoes base coat, maintaining a high gloss finish is easy. I receive many compliments!

Great on my navy leather chairs.
I have two navy leather chairs that are 15 years old, and in fairly good condition. The leather is dulling. I decided to try this shoe polish on my chairs. It worked like a charm. The polish covered the scuffs and dried well. I just had to buff the leather once the polish dried. There was no transfer to clothes afterwards.

Not good
Ours used by reading extremely good reviews and I thought to give it a shot, purchased it for more than 60 Saudi Riyals and it’s normal shoe polish which is available in market for worth 2 Saudi Riyals, manufacturer put a pinch of acrylic blue color and that’s it, you polish your dark blue shoes it’s very hard to notice that it polished your shoes or just you removed the dust, so I would recommend the customers instead of buying this buy black normal shoe polish which is way more cheap than this.
