Impossible to pair. Burnt out
This product is impossible to pair with the app. The instructions say place it near your router. That would involve moving my water heater! The backup method of pairing uses the switches built in WiFi hub. That seems to send a signal for a few seconds only and certainly not long enough to pair. While trying to pair my water heater keeps being switched on and off, which shortens it’s life and is using peak rate electricity.Edit in July: last night while switching on my immersion heater (3kW) the switch burnt out. So much for 20amp.

A bit dangerous
Installed 2 months ago and despite being a pain to pair with my WiFi router it did function well for that time until the other day when I woke up to find a strong smell of TCP in our hallway. (Usually a sign of an electronic Circuit board burning). Tracked it down to the switch. Incoming live terminal had burnt out, definitely not rated for what it says. Appears others have had a similar problem. I would avoid.

States 10A on packing & manual not 20A as described
The box & the manual state Max current is 10A and a paper insert states 20A. I cannot risk causing an electric fire by installing a lower Amp switch. Is the packing wrong or the item? When dealing with electric items the seller has to be clear and not confusing.

Don’t waste your money
This product is not safe to use to power a water heater. An electrician friend of mine said that the poles are not the correct distance apart which can cause a short between poles. I had to remove this from my electrical system due to it causing the breaker box to shut down all circuits in the house, sockets lights, everything. It maybe of use as a light switch if you have a neutral wire in the circuit, but that is rare these days.

Good product and good value
Initially, I was very pleased with the purchase, easy enough to set up, easy to connect to wifi, and worked well with Alexa. Unfortunately, the switch has started to present a potentially dangerous fault. Recently the switch was saying it was switched off but was not actually disabling the water heater, this was causing the water heater to hit the fail-safe so it didn't explode but also the switch was getting so hot it was generating a melted plastic smell and was too hot to touch, I had to disable the whole system for fear of fire. I had reached out to Amazon to resolve the issue as it was within the 12 month period and they were unwilling to assist and told me to contact the manufacturer. The problem with this is that the manufacturer, Freeleben have zero online presence so no contact details are available anywhere and now I am at a loss what to do other than contact a consumer rights agency.

Dangerous instructions and inconsistent
The instructions are not accurate, there was 2 neutral port and when I read the instructions and the one with the pictures there are 1 neutral and 2 live with the middle not used. Which isn't true. I have blown a fuse because of the bad instructions. The diagram at the back of the unit is also wrong.Getting the switch to connect to wifi was horrible. The most difficult part was working out the badly written instructions. I had to follow a youtube video and later found out that this does not support complex wifi passwords so no special characters are allowed.Just avoid, get something that is better unless the price is what you want.I only got this since the other products available do not ship to Ireland.

Reliable & Safe Smart Switch
I used this smart switch to remotely control power to my immersion tank. I've been using it for over 6 months now and it's all good.I've checked the terminals a few times since installing it to make sure none of the contacts came loose, which could cause arcing and potentially a fire. No issues there. When installing it I found the instructions a little confusing as the terminals in the booklet and on the back of the unit didn't seem to match. I went with the markings on the back of the unit and didn't have any problems. This unit also only works on 2.4GHz WiFi so it might be a bit fiddly to get the App to register the switch as most routers work off 5GHz these days. Easiest thing to do is, go as far away from your router (while staying in range) when registering the switch as this forces the router to work off 2.4GHz.Overall, I'm very happy with is product. The ability to remotely switch on and off the immersion and use a scheduler/timer through the App is very handy. Also works with Google Assistant.

Instructions could be wrong
Like most other reviewers, I had trouble liking the switch to my WiFi. However, I had been following the instructions that state that the switch should be pressed until the WiFi light constantly flashes, which it does after it goes to a long and a few short flashes. I found that when I tried to connect during the long/short flashes, it connected immediately. I have it connected to a bathroom towel heater and use the Android eWeLink app. The app says that you can use a function called 'inching' to tell the device to turn off after so many minutes. This didn't work when I tried it. However, as I've connected it to Alexa, I can turn it on and off by voice (if I remember!)
