First off I would like to say that this product is beautifully crafted.Every year during Memorial Day weekend I go to an event called Pedaler's Jamboree here in Missouri. It's a 30-mile ride on the Katy Trail, where there is music, drinks, and food along the route. Everyone camps out on Saturday night and rides back the next day. Fun time with nearly 1000 other riders. One of the tips I've learned during previous years is that a drink holder would be very convenient while riding along the trail, talking to other riders. I didn't want just some regular old plastic cup holder. No - I wanted something with style! I wanted something that was attractive and could be a start of a conversation. This fit the bill.I received it in the mail and was giddy as I rushed to my bike to strap it on. Sadly though I had some moments of disappointment as I realized that it would be impossible for this to strap on my handlebars as designed. The vertical straps of course would fit around my handlebars, but the handlebar stem on my bike is too long for the horizontal strap to reach around the vertical headset on the bike. In fact most of the bikes that I have seen are like this. The problem with the photos for this product are that they display the cup holder on a more classic sort of bike, and don't seem to factor in newer configurations of handlebars. I was bummed. I was bummed that a product that was so nicely made, might not be able to be used by me.I couldn't let that be the end though. There had to be a relatively simple solution to alter the mounting of this product. I tried a few other ways of mounting the cup holder but they either made it awkward to access a drink or mounted in a way where it put too much pressure on the back of the holder, causing an unrealistic tight fit of any sort of drink.Solution: A mount extenderFSA Control Center computer mount, 31.8mmNormally designed to mount a computer or light when handlebar space in limited, this worked perfectly to give me another option to strap the cup holder on. As can be seen by the photos I've attached, the cup holder is placed on the side of the handlebars closer to me. The vertical straps went around this extender and I took the horizontal strap around the stem. The height of the extender made it possible for the drink holder to conveniently sit on top of the headset. I used a rubber twist tie to make sure the vertical straps didn't move at all during the ride. I would hate to spill too much of my drink.I was thinking about rating this 4 out of 5 stars based on the mounting problems, but why? This product absolutely rocks and once I troubleshooted the problem, I couldn't have been happier by the way it preformed. Switching the sides of the handlebars that it mounted on, probably made me enjoy it better, since it had easier access. Plus, with the the mini backpacking trip that I used this on, switching sides allowed me to continue to use the front of my handlebars to strap gear. It kept my drink secure and just as importantly it kept my drink cool because of the insulation. This is like a leather koosie. Perfect!

Overall I was very pleased with the leather bicycle handlebar cup-holder in both craftsmanship, design and for the most part, quality.Although the leather overall seems to be "better than acceptable" quality, I have to admit having some concern over the straps that would affix to the handlebars.While the rivets that affix the straps to the main holder appear to be well done and suitably durable, I would have liked the straps themselves (the ones that may need to be adjusted MORE THAN ONCE & run across the metal buckle as many times) to have been doubled and possibly stitched to increase the certainty that they would not break as a result of weight/stress, or repeated adjusting (eg. moving from one bike to another).Since I intend to use this for an e-bike I have not yet received, I'll have to come back & update this review in the future, but upon arrival & as of this moment, overall I was very, very pleased with this purchase as well as it's packaging & the personalized card detailing the employee & country of origin from where this product was manufactured.Like many others, I've become more conscience about the use of animal hide & leather products & have reduced their use & purchase to almost non-existent, but I'm not going let that stop me from looking over this company's catalogue of what I consider "better than acceptable" quality merchandise (I reserve the right to change the quality level I've attributed after a period of use). I did purchase another different item from them as well.I would purchase this product again for myself &/or as a gift.Lastly & perhaps unnecessarily; for numerous reasons I don't believe, but may be mistaken, that this product would NOT be suitable for motorcycle riders, however scooter/moped riders MAY actually find it very acceptable to their standards & needs.

Wow, I am so impressed with this product!! The amount of love that goes into the craftsmanship, packaging and branding is astounding. First of all the cloth bag that this cup holder comes in is so freaking adorable and something I will keep and use! The color of the leather cup holder is slightly darker than the picture but is still so beautiful and supple. Even though this was only $20 it feels like a $50 product of it was sold in a boutique.It was challenging to strap the thing on because the buckles are small and not smooth but since I will only have to put it on once, I didn’t mind the extra work. I have a basket in the front so I ended up strapping the thing to the basket and it stands upright perfectly!! My bike and basket already look great but this holder took it to a whole new level!

Originally this was a nice item. The packaging was nice well made however I didn’t find it sturdy enough to hold a drink for my bike so I asked for a refund. I then returned it and the next day received yet another holder this time the packaging wasn’t a nice and the cup holder was less appealing. I do not want another one I want a refund and I asked for that from the beginning so if they’re avoiding giving me my money back because it clearly states refund and I did so the very next day so I’d have to say that they aren’t being honest. Now I have to return to the return store again in hopes I don’t receive another one tomorrow. This item is costing me more than it is even worth.

This item is pretty good looking but the construction is a little flaw. One of the leather straps broke while I was hooking it up to my bike the same day I received it in the mail. Also, if you have a cruiser the tops straps are not long enough for a vertical fit.

The cup holder is amazing but for my daughter’s bike there was no way to stabilize it for her to hold a larger drink bottle. I passed it on to a family member who could use it. It was beautifully crafted and high quality.

This item exceeded my expectations! Well made and looks amazing! I'd buy more as gifts if I had friends with bikes!

war ein bewußter Kauf, da ich versuche größtmöglich, der Umwelt zur Liebe, auf Plastik zu verzichten.Das ich die Halterung nicht so am Lenkrad befestigen kann wie auf dem Bild zu sehen ist, war mir schon fast bewußt, legte es aber beim Einkauf darauf an.Da es farblich sehr gut zu meinem schwarzen Fahrrad mit braunen Lenkradgriffen und Sattel passte, montierte ich die Halterung auf meine Art erfolgreich an.Getränke darin sind mein tgl Begleiter, meist in einem Contigobecher, aber auch für Kleingeld, Schlüssel oder Handy gut zu gebrauchen.Bin begeistert.Trotzdem entschied ich mich aber für 4 Sternen, weil so wie von dem Verkäufer angezeigten Bildern, ist es bei den heutzutage moderneren Fahrrädern nicht möglich.

Wish it was a bit wider but it fits very snugly a medium timmies coffee. It might be better that it's tight to help hold it in actually. Or if it was a bit taller and wider that would prob do it too. Looks as pictured.
