After my dell laptop stopped charging correctly, i.e. I had to basically turn the dc plug at a certain angle for it charge, I did some research and found that the likely culprit was the springs inside the dc jack wearing out over time. So I bought this replacement dc jack, and it was relatively easy to install, might have to disconnect some cables and unscrew the motherboard a bit to get more access/leverage to remove the old port, and then twist the new one a bit (seemed a bit longer than my the originial one) for it to fit, but it definitely fixed my issue in the end.

My laptop is physically falling apart, and the charging port has taken a lot of damage. I suffered through it being finicky and even straight up not charging for ages. I feel very silly now, because replacing this part is easy as hell. This worked like a charm and now my poor piece of garbage laptop charges again! For now!

Does not clip in, so it falls out easily. Does not work with dell 7352, even though it says it does.

Took me longer to unscrew and put back the laptop than it did to replace this jack. I just watched a YouTube video on how to install. Works like a charm.

Used to replace a broken charge port. The cable length is a little longer than the original one but still works prefect.

The product is to short and won't fit my Dell insprion 15 laptop.
