Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star: Bedtime Songs and Lullabies

Perfect for trying to get a toddler to relax and thus sleep. My little 20month old grandson had never been able to go to sleep without his mum rocking him until he nodded off.This 45minute c.d. was full of gentle, non cloying music that made it possible for mum to go out of the berdroom before sleep had come!

I think this is a pretty good CD for getting little ones to sleep. We have a 5 month old baby and it seems to work well for us.I can see why people are commenting on this being a little drab but for a baby you don't want anything too upbeat or they won't go to sleep!I would recommend this if your intended use is for sleep time. If it is for a more upbeat day to day listen for older babies then perhaps look elsewhere.

It's absolutely good and the songs are soft. it really serves the purpose to help my son fall asleep. really happy.

Twinkle twinkle Little Star is a CD of bedtime songs and lullabies for children. For some reason I thought this was an instrumental CD but it has singing on it by Mark Meadows and Deryn Edwards. The songs are quite low key and the singing is good. The little one and I enjoyed listening to the CD but think that instrumentals are easier and quieter to get off to sleep with. This is fine for quiet moments in the day perhaps for a quick nap. I also found myself singing along too.

A well produced CD.

The first time we put this on and our toddler started singing along to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star I knew we were on to a winner. This is a lovely little CD packed with short and sweet nursery rhymes and songs, some of which made me feel very nostalgic for my own childhood. The production job is first rate and I definitely recommend it. My only moan is that there are no track numbers on the back of the case, making it a faff to skip straight to a favourite song. But I didn't have the heart to deduct a star for a packaging gaff, such is it's mellowing influence.
