heavier than I had imagined and pretty heavy for an umbrella
heavier than I had imagined and pretty heavy for an umbrella.. not for travel. I decided to keep it in the car instead of my original intention to carry in my purse..pretty though but on the small side and good for 1 person only. Have yet to try the sun blocking function since got it in winter.. looks like there is a thick layer of black plastic looking thing inside.. so hopefully that will do it..

Better than I hoped for
Yay! - I have not used this umbrella once without being told how pretty it is or to ask where I got it. The sun protection is great!Hey! - If I had to name any cons it would be that 1) the cover is VERY delicate and had already torn slightly in the lace. 2) The handle itself is very awkward to hold.That being said, the quality is pretty decent and the cost was more than fair.

Very pretty, used in the rain.
I use this in the sun and rain. I have to limit my time in the sun due to a medication I'm on. Used it in the rain, the lace held up well. I would have given it 5 stars except that it's hard to lock it in place. I have arthritis and weak hands and have to ask my husband to do it.

I love it, the lace
I love it, the lace, the uv protection! The only qualm i have is that it feels slightly breakable as far as the weight and fabric quality go. definitely something you gotta take some care of. always make sure; since it folds outwardly. that the fabric is not on any of the joints.

It looked just like described, very pretty
It looked just like described, very pretty. After a couple of tries I was able to open and close it properly. Once I opened it I wasn't able to slip it back in the cover it came with. It should be helpful in the sun.

Love it.
works well and is very pretty. I am sick in bed for two days if I go out in the sun. I wascrabbing all day in the sun and had this covering me the whole time. I was fine the next day. The only thing is you can never get it back in its case.

So dissappointed
It is much prettier on line than in person. It is difficult to open up and even more difficult to close. It has sparkly dots on it that flake off every time you touch it. It is a compact umbrella that is to fat to be discrete in a regular size purse. It cheaply made with plastic, over plastic for decoration
