CAP Barbell Ab Trainer Silver/Black, Standard

The CAP Barbell ab trainer has proven its effectiveness in my fitness journey. Striving for better shape and weight loss while targeting core strength, I found this machine to be a valuable aid. As I work on mastering sit-ups and crunches independently, this equipment provides essential support in building core strength, forming a pivotal part of my daily routine. The assembly process was a breeze, thanks to clear instructions and all parts included. Within approximately 10 minutes, I had it ready for use. Surprisingly, the headrest offers a comfort level that surpassed my expectations. At a reasonable cost of $21, I have no complaints. This ab trainer has truly exceeded my expectations, making it a worthwhile addition to my fitness regimen.

Bought this for my husband per his request. I thought it would be a waste of money as I didn't believe he would see results and would give up. I couldn't have been more wrong, and I'm happy he purchased in spite of my misgivings. He has used it every morning for over a year and has definitely gotten desired results. His stomach has flattened and is more defined. It has lasted with daily use for this long and I don't see any wear and tear. Definitely recommend, if you use it, it will work!

Really not a bad exercise equipment for less than $50. The instructions were pretty simple and finished assembly in less than an hour. I like how it gave me alternate exercises that I could use it for. All tools were provided for, too, which proved quite convenient bcus I didn't have to go looking for my toolset. You really needed only a screwdriver and an allen wrench. Interestingly enough, the screwdriver and allen wrench were both attached together back-to-back. Once again, very convenient. I'd also recommend adding or buying an Amazon yoga mat with this ab trainer purchase. I have included a photo of my completed ab workout station. To make the headrest, maybe, last a bit longer I wrapped it in plastic. I'd totally buy this item again and would give it a 5, but not sure of its durability.

Easy to assemble and use. Although basic, you can feel it working your abs and helps with proper form. I would recommend this for seniors.

I think this is a good product but for someone small who does not have very long arms, it's not the best choice. I could barely reach the bar so it did not help me to pull myself up into a sit up. If you are at least 5'5", you should be able to reach the bar. I'm only 5'.

I lost my fupa years ago on an ab crunch machine like this so I decided to order this one because it’s a replica of the one I owned and let me tell you as long as you use it you will lose it!! Amazing tool to get flat/flat. Love it!!!!

Please understand that while this contraption may have worked for some people it DEFINITELY did not work for me. If you live in a small home with limited closet space, you might want to consider something else. It is not compact and it doesn't consolidate in any way. The assembly is easy...only took about 25 minutes. But, the workout I received from it was mediocre at best. The irony of it all is that the "headrest" is supposed to relieve strain in the neck. For me I found the total opposite was happening. I found myself getting neck strain and pressure. I really wanted to give this ab roller a chance! I really did! But it truly is a waste of money for me. I did 300 reps per day for several days and found that NO muscles were being challenged. You can usually tell the next day because your abs and other muscles feel as though they have been worked. Not the case with this item....for ME. What DOES WORK? Pilates floor exercises specifically designed for strengthening core muscles. Better than I anticipated. Sturdy, and it has held up well over the first month. I needed something to improve my abdominals and this is doing what I needed.
