Butt twitchy good.
It’s like my elderly girl (9 years old) got put in a time machine and gained back 4 years of life, she’s busier, eating way more, piles of healthy poop, and has her dutchy muchyness back. My baby bun (about a year old) now has butt twitchies of happiness eating his ceceals , usually only seen when eating fresh banana. However in my 3rd bun of unknown age, difference was nominal but certainly no harm, but he has a whole host of other health issues from previous bad home so I don’t think it’s a reflection of the product. I super recommend it regardless, especially after antibiotic courses.

Bunny support
This is a great product to have if you own rabbits. Bunnies have very sensitive digestive systems, so I like keeping this on hand to help support their gut health. I originally bought it after my bunny, Oreo, gave me a little scare, and it gave me peace of mind knowing I had something made specifically for rabbits. Definitely recommend keeping this on hand for any bunny owner.

One of the most affordable supplements i've found!
I purchased this purely on a whim, I have two rabbits and as they age I notice they have more and more GI scares. I have been looking for an affordable supplement for years at this point. I'm very glad I found this product, I use it multiple times a week, and my rabbits actually like the taste of this, which is rare for my picky pets. I just sprinkle this over morning pellets, and they eat it no problem. There is a lot of powder in this and will last at minium a year. Very pleased with this supplement. Extra Info: It has minimal smell and most likely your rabbits won't even notice it. A fine, silky soft powder, no chunks or lumps. Noticeable bowel movement improvements.

Looks like it's helping.
I have a lion maine rabbit, and her poop was getting quite smooshy. I purchased this product about 4 days ago and have been giving it to her daily on her vegetables like other people had suggested in the morning. I am posting this picture and we'll have an update in about a week or so. But it looks good as far as helping her tummy.

Worked for my sick rabbit
I have a 6 year old Holland Lop who our vet said probably has an immune deficiency, as he has tested positive for three unusual different bacterial respiratory infections. They're chronic, so we give him two oral antibiotics every day and nebulize another to keep him reasonably healthy and comfortable. We vary the dose and frequency as we and the vet seek the best solutions for him. It's a challenge. He's still a happy boy though, and that's what we are aiming for. Rabbits use bacteria for their digestive system, so having the right bacteria is so important to avoid problems like GI stasis or diarrhea, both of which can kill them. As well as the three bacterial infections he has. So a delicate balancing act between his bacteria, good and bad. HealthyGut probiotics really helps in that endeavor. I've tried another brand but wasn't as happy with the results. We've had another couple of rabbits who passed from old age related issues that have done well too on this. I just want to say that don't just use the recommended amount every day, sometimes it can be a little less, like even a half scoop or less. They can get too much probiotics as well as too little. Judge by the quality of the cecals and your rabbits response. I just sprinkle it on top of his pellets and he seems to like it and will always eat it. For rabbit gut health, I recommend Sherwood (by far the best brand) pellets, and their rabbit vitamins treats. hay, water, and this probiotic. Sherwood explains it on their website. I believe a rabbit's diet should be simple. Avoid greens, carrots, and such as they have too much sugar (lettuce and carrots are best for cartoon and children's books rabbits). I also replace this probiotic as they seem to lose effectiveness over a period of months to a year, so I just get the small size. They really last a while. Our last two rabbits before this one each lived to 11 years, both used this probiotic, and neither died from gut problems. Our current bunny, Gizmo has amazed our vet, who says he shouldn't even be alive at this point, and was cautioning us a while back that Giz probably wasn't going to make it. But he is thriving in his way and doing really well. HealthyGut isn't the only reason, but it's a part of it. I give it to rabbits when they are healthy as well to keep them that way. We wish good health, joy and binkies for your rabbit(s)!

Will update after a few weeks of use
7/23/2025 UPDATE: It’s been a few weeks and I have been giving Neptune and Waffle this powder every morning. I sprinkle it on their fresh greens or oats. I’ve only been giving them about half a scoop or so- they are about 4-5lbs. I was very skeptical that this would actually work but Neppy hasn’t had a poopy butt and I haven’t found his mushed cecotropes on the floor. I noticed a difference about a week after starting this. If this didn’t work I would have taken him to see the vet but now a $20 product has saved me possibly hundreds of dollars from a vet bill. Whew! If anything changes I will update again. I have 2 holland lops. One of them gets a poopy butt sometimes. I tried the oxbow digestive treats and I didn’t notice a difference after a whole bag. I try and be conscious on the amount of treats I give my buns. Every morning they get spring mix so I sprinkled some of the powder on the lettuce this morning. I read to slowly introduce this so it doesn’t upset their tummies. 5 stars for now but I will update after a few weeks. The scoop is a lot smaller than expected which I don’t mind at all. The expiration date is in 2027 for mine. I know some people complained they got product that expired a few months after purchase.

Life saver for my bunny!
I started giving this probiotic to my bunny a few weeks ago and the difference has been amazing. It’s super easy to mix into her pellets or greens, and she eats it without hesitation. Her digestion is so much better—firmer, more regular poops, and no more soft or messy spots. I even noticed she seems more energetic and comfortable. I love that it’s made specifically for rabbits, so I know it’s safe. Definitely a must-have for any bunny owner!

Helped my megacolon rabbit
About a year-and-a-half ago, my rabbit with genetic megacolon, Bambi, began having a significant worsening of his condition and digestion. He started having foul-smelling, very loose and even watery stools along with significant weight loss. It seemed that something was quite wrong with his gut flora. (He did receive veterinary evaluation without an infectious cause found.) Part of his treatment plan was to include probiotics, of which there seemed to be few available for rabbits. I found the Equa Holistics rabbit probiotics and began mixing it in with Bam's wet "recovery food" twice daily. He has never had any opposition to the taste, and he gobbles down the whole mixture. We started noticing a significant improvement in his stools after about a week, with continued improvement in his overall condition ongoing after that. We have have continued this same routine ever since, and he has regained weight and is a happy guy. The bunny we were sure would not live to see his 7th birthday is now coming up on his 8th. We're not going to mess with success. We plan to keep using this probiotic daily.
