These are fancy looking cookies, but not real biscotti.
I am making this review to let others know that, IMHO as an Italian-American, these are not real biscotti. Real biscotti are twice-baked crunchy cookies made for dipping into hot drinks such as coffee, tea, cappuccino, etc. Real biscotti are able to soak up the hot liquid like a sponge, without immediately disintegrating. These cookies are more cake-like, and are soft, not crunchy. They do not hold up to dunking. So, I found them somewhat disappointing because I expected biscotti. If they were called ‘holiday cookies’ or some other name, I probably would not have been as disappointed. Others may like them, but I felt that they were still disappointing, and are not something that I would buy again.

Have sent these as gifts a dozen times for various occasions and everyone loved them!

These looked delicious and were great with coffee. I gave it 4 stars because I expected larger pieces for the price. Impressive packaging. If you are looking to impress some body, go with a larger size box or a better price. I do not recommend purchasing to have sent to a warm or hot region, the chocolate will melt and make a mess.
