Fluidampr - Dodge Cummins 5.9L 1998-2002 24V Steel Internally Balanced Damper (960301)

Works great. Bought this to replace the old worn out factory one that was falling apart. Took me about 30 minutes to install. Noticed a big difference in sound when idling and cruising around town. Definitely makes the engine alot more quiet and that's saying something because the old 5.9s are known to be loud. I figured I'd buy this and not worry about it again instead of buying another factory one that won't last. Yes it costs a good amount but it's well worth it.

I replaced the stock old junky one with this and my motor runs better I can tell. I'd say it's a must have for us 24v guys cuz we keep our trucks for ever and its only 4 bolt

I have a 2002 dodge ram 2wd 2500 and decide I’d replace with a fluidampr. My truck has just upgrades to get the best mileage since I travel alot. I read it could smooth out the engine a bit. I am not disappointed, its a bit quiter and I have noticed it seems to run smoother. Now no joke I did a trip to Vegas that I travel often and I normally make it there just barely in one tank. I usually get around 520 in a tank, after I installed the fluidampr i got 540. So a decent jump just for replacing a part. By the way I have a cold air intake, 4 inch turbo back, high ram intake and a 60 hp chip I run on 40. Its a bit pricely but im thinking longevity or rolling black smoke all day. By the way I drive like a confused grandpa👍🏼
