Works well for gym attachments.
I got these to make it a little easier to attach exercise bars to the carabiners on my gym equipment. They work well for that. They’re easy to hand tighten securely and remove. If you have MAG attachments, this is a good way to attach them without damaging the finish.

poor quality control
Good price, but poor quality control. One of the 4 shackles I received had one of the holes placed incorrectly so that the pin is at an extreme angle when the shackle is closed. The misplaced hole left very little material to one side of the hole so that the strength is obviously compromised.
