This product is the best for back aches. Heats up nicely and I like the applicator that comes with it. It opens the pores to allow the active ingredients to go to work. Apply 2nd layer if you need it really hot.

Very effective ointment

The BEST!
European Olympic Sports Champions use Finalgon. If it's the deep penetrating heat that athletes like then buy this product from Bulgaria...which is the gel because the gel is stronger and deeper heat than the ointment This is a pharmaceutical grade and the ointment is milder.The directions will be in Cyrillic so unless you read Russian...listen up...the gel is powerful and so use small dabs and spread with the applicator. Also wash your hands with vegetable oil if you get any on your fingers. I was a National Champion in an Olympic event and knew many Olympians which used this. Gel not ointment. ointment costs less because it is less.
