The best shorts I've ever owned. These instantly became my favorite shorts. The material is lightweight, flexible and cool. Usually I don't care for cargo shorts because the extra layers of fabric for the leg pockets make the shorts heavy and hot. But not these! I hardly notice that the leg pockets are there, yet they are very useful for holding items, and the pockets don't cause a warm spot on the leg. Also love the fabric which has just enough stretch to make them super comfortable, and the leg length, at least for a tall person, is great. After trying one pair out, I came back for additional pairs so as to have a supply for future use. A great find and a great purchase.

The elastic waist stretches out as the day goes on. They fit well in the morning but by afternoon the elastic has weakened and a size 38 has gone to a 42 and I can’t keep them on without a belt. I’ve had this brand in the paste and they were great but this pair has been a hassle and now to use I have to keep a belt on, not really what I wanted in a pair of fishing shorts. Otherwise looks ok, material is good and stain resistant.

Until I saw these shorts on Amazon, I didn't think UB still existed. Glad their still around.These shorts are wonderful, and so comfortable. They're actually a little stretchy, which is nice especially if you're between sizes. The regular fit of the shorts is exact. The stitching seems good and no quality issues after several wears and washes. Love these, and i'd buy again.

I have bought from 3 different suppliers of Union Bay Cargo Shorts from Amazon. They were all different products and fits. The fit on these is not the same as ones I bought elsewhere. The length and waist are shorter/smaller.

I'm very pleased with these shorts. They resist wrinkles, they flex, and they breathe. They look good, feel good, and fit well. A belt is required with these shorts, though. The weight of keys, change, wallet, etc. will cause them to slide down your waist without one -- much like untied sweat pants I suppose.

The shorts came with no button. Reached out for a replacement but I was offered a refund once they recieved the shorts back. I guess the shorts are used? I don't understand how they wouldn't come with a button. I'd buy elsewhere.

I love all Unionbay clothes. But I'm hardly a teenager so I don't like pants or shorts that look as though they are falling off. So I order the next smaller size and then they fit me perfectly, look and feel great.

In my opinion these UB Montego Cargo shorts are the best fitting and most comfortable cargo shorts on the market.The material is very light weight and the fit for me is next to perfect.
