Small, works well
So far, I am really happy with this product. It is a very small, thin piece of foamy material and it blends in quite well on the black outer rim of my laptop where the camera is located. It is thin enough so that I can close my laptop without any problems. I have a Macbook Pro 13 inch from 2015. As other reviewers have pointed out, the sides of this thing are white, not black like in the picture. I find the product picture misleading. But the look is still pretty subtle. So far, I have removed the camera cover a couple of times and stuck it back on without problems. When I remove it, I just stick it on the outer rim next to the camera. When I am done, I stick it back on, no problem with the stickiness so far. And, of course, it is doing its job. When it's on the camera, it blacks everything out.UPDATE 2020: I have had this thing for over three years now. I am still using the exact same sticker from back in 2016 on the same laptop. I have removed it and stuck it back on countless times. I can't believe it is still working! The stickiness wore down at some point but then I simply moistened it a little and that restored the stickiness. I mean, that kind of lifespan is more than one can reasonably expect from a product like this.

Stylin' camera covers; high speed low drag.
Camera privacy covers, long lived, with a very low profile, they stay in place. They are easily cut to smaller sizes. Most hardware manufacturers don't include 'privacy covers' for their camera lenses, which they should. If for no other reason than providing protection from smudges and scratches, and as a last line of defense from unintentional or surreptitious camera activation. A small piece of felt and some tape works well, or a 'post-it', and is much less expensive, albeit not as re-usable as these covers. The adhesive on these covers doesn't leave a residue or film ( nano suction cups, not a a chemical adhesive or glue ). The outward face is soft microfiber. They stay in place. They are easily removed by lifting an edge and peeling, and then placed back over the camera when desired. The adhesive can be reactivated with a tiny drop of water which is rarely necessary. Reactivating the adhesive may be necessary if the cover is repeatedly peeled off numerous times. These are far better than a piece of tape, or a clunky chunk of plastic held in place by glue or a clip.

Nice different approach to solving this problem... however... still challenging with modern screens
I bought this product because I have been having trouble with the small metal sliding camera covers (which I love) due to the fact that they are not able to stick to some modern phone and tablet screens. The new version of Gorilla Glass is much more slippery than earlier iterations and the adhesive-based web cam covers don't stick to them reliably (particularly on Microsoft Surface devices, but also on Samsung smartphones). Additionally, the metal web cam covers can tend to scratch up case and keyboard of laptops when used.Seeing that these new covers were both soft and work on a different principle (tiny suction cups) I figured I would give them a try. They do tend to work better than the adhesive, but I find them to be less attractive than the sliding metal ones, and of course they don't slide... meaning you have to physically remove and replace the cover if/when you want to use your camera. Finally, they STILL don't fully stick to the (excellent) Surface display, which this new glass is some kind of perfectly frictionless surface, it would seem. However, they do stick well enough and they don't move around nearly as much as the adhesive-based ones, and the fact that the stickiness can be refreshed with water is a huge bonus. So I think I will continue to use these covers since at least I don't have to throw them away once they eventually fall off, which they will. Additionally, they don't scratch the device. So all in all, this is a positive review. I think these are probably the best of the options on the market for now.

Re-use really does work, at least on a glass bezeled laptop: these are clingy like vinyl decals
This is a clever two layer design. The first layer is similar to the stuff that vinyl decals are made out of, the sort that you put on car windows. (If you ever had the oil in your car changed, there's probably a small one clinging to the top left corner of your windscreen.) It's "clingy" more than "sticky", with no glue at all. It clings to smooth surfaces and is easy to peel back off.But just vinyl decal material would make for an annoying camera cover, because you'd have to use your nails to get under it so as to pull it off, and it might not be completely opaque to light. That's why there's a second layer, which is black and feels kind of like the surface of a mouse mat. This works extremely well on laptops like the Macbook where the camera is integrated into a solid pane of glass. I have no idea how it would do on a more traditional hard plastic screen bezel. The one downside is that over time, as you fiddle with it to get it on and off, the two layers come apart. I think it's probably going to last you quite a while with regular use, but not as long as the laptop. But I would suggest considering the 3 pack.

Perfectly Simple
This products is so simple, but perfect for what I wanted. I very rarely use the webcams on my computer or tablets and I try to do what I can to protect my privacy. Occasionally I need to use the webcam for something and having a product that is easily removable and reusable was just what I needed. In the past, I have always just resorted to using a small piece of cardboard and a piece of tape. This worked well enough, I guess. However, the tape would sometimes be difficult to remove or it would fall off after a while. The WebCamera Cover has a sleek design that just looks much more put together than a piece of tape and cardboard. These have a soft, almost foam like texture and come on a coated card that makes it easy to store the extras. For the cost and ease of use, I do not see why I would not use this product. They are well worth it!!

Works as advertised
This most recent order is a reorder from my original purchase a couple years ago, so I’m pleased with the product. They are unobtrusive and effective.

Love and hate
I love ease of use and privacy barrier. Not quite enough adhesive so they don’t last and easy to lose.

Makes me feel a little better sitting in front of my computer
It does what it says, also stays put. I've had it on my computer for over a year with no problems.Doesn't blend in perfectly, but it doesn't stick out as an eye sore

Great webcam cover.
The covers are working great, exactly as advertised. They are quite sticky but easy to move to cover and uncover the camera. Shipping to Canada was quite quick. Thank you for the note and two extra covers. That was a nice touch! Price is reasonable when you consider how many covers you get. Would buy again and recommend.
