They are beautiful!!! The black coating or what ever it was, was cracked where the heel was attached on the outside but nothing black shoe polish didn't fix!!! I love them so much!Sorry for the bad camera angles.

I have to wear these at work every day, so I need something that I can stand in for up to 9 hours. I love these! I did buy a size larger because, as I said, I wear these a lot and need to be able to put padded socks inside and have enough room if my feet swell. I had another brand of white Victorian boots before and they were impossible to keep clean and looking nice. What I love about these is that the vinyl is soft and when I need to remove dirt and black scuff marks, all I use is nail polish remover and a cloth on them and they look brand new again! Definitely will buy again!

These boots are darling! They fit spot-on for a 9. I tried them on and then got busy with doing stuff around the house. I had completely forgot I had them on!Don't worry about calf size, they arrive unlaced. Then you can put on and ensure a good fit. They have a zipper on the inside for easy on/off. The height of heel is just right and the width lends itself to being easy to walk in. There would even be room to put those little gel things if you so desired.The height of boot going up your leg is perfect. You will be able to wear these with rolled up jeans and there won't be any gap.

I wear a 7.5 but had to order an 8 because no half sizes were available. Even though so have a wide food, the 8 remains a tad too big. I can add a pad to help fill the space in the foot but am concerned the shaft will chafe my legs as I walk; it is loose on my calves even laced as tight as it will go. Socks might help but normally one would wear this boot with tights or nylons which probably won't be enough to stop the friction. I think I will order the 7 too, do a comparison, and return one or the other.On a different subject if your feet tend to sweat a lot, buy something else. These are all man made uppers (read "vinyl/plastic") and will not breathe at all. It's pretty much what you should expect of an inexpensive "costume" boot.

I bought these for a musical that I'm in and we needed Victorian Lace Up Boots. I bought these because I needed boots ASAP. I'm a 9 1/2 but I got a 10 and they're a little big. Normally in this situation you would normally get the closest size up.... But I wish I got the 9 instead of the 10. Also, Amazon orders these from a Halloween store so the black paint was coming off of the boots. I will keep them for shows but I'm not going to get much use out of them.

I purchased these boots for a Victorian costume, I also wanted to choose a boot that I could possibly wear for fall with some leggings. I have horrible feet! meaning wide and I wear I size 12...( your basic Fred Flinstone nightmare) which it is very hard for me to find a nice shoe in this size anyway. The boots are pointy near the toes, hmmmmm that I was concerned about, since I was not able to try them on....but no fear, my wide foot still was comfy in these boots, and in my opinion are very true to size.....getting them laced up was a challenge, once they are laced there is a nice convenient zipper on the side that made it super easy! It did take a while for these boots to be delivered, I believe due to it being a 3rd party company they are shipping from..... so allow a couple of weeks for delivery....arrived in great condition!

The fit is what I expected. I wear 7.5 narrow. I got size 7. It runs a tad on my outside toe, but is fine. If you have wide foot, you might have trouble. A little rub in the heel. But I don't expect it to be a problem. Thick socks would take care of that.I am very disappointed in the color of the brown. It is a deep brown, like mud brown or deep taupe. In the picture online, I saw some red tone in the color, a bit of chestnut. Wrong. The boot is not that color at all. I already have a mud brown boots. I'm considering returning the brown pair.

I love these boots!!!! They are extremely comfortable. I wore these boots out on a trip to the park with my eight year old. We did quite a lot of walking and I walked in comfort and style. These boots have a high enough heel to have a sexy appearance, but are still comfortable as well as practical.
