Awesome Sound!!!
I wanted a cushioned bag to carry my Tascam DR-40. I also wanted it to be small enough to carry on my belt comfortably. The Pava FPS-2 does all that and more! The sound is incredible and although I needed to stretch out the compartment to hold my DR-40 (I did this by putting my DR-40 in the elastisized compartment for a couple of days), it is now perfectly fitted and I carry the remote control RC-10 and cord, as well as, the Tascam A/c adapter. The pouch also will fit an extra five batteries for the DR-40 (3) and the Pava bag (2)which I keep in very small zip-lock bags in case of leakage. I bought it at Amazon.com instead of Ebay because they had the better price. Think again before buying this.
This thing is taking up space in my closet because it's not that great at all. I have no need for speakers on my bag but I bought this to store my Tascam DR-40 and it doesn't really have any padding to protect the device at all. I don't know what I was thinking when I bought this.

This case does the job
I recently purchased this case to carry my digital recorder and I'm very happy to say it works well. The sound is good for a portable/battery unit.

Speaker distorts badly
I like the idea. But the speaker is barely louder than my iPhone as it is without significant distortion. Anything louder than a normal phone speaker will sound like you're humming it through wax paper and a comb.

perfect for those in the media business
The PAVA is great for around the house or on the deck. I use he PAVA at work to play my client's radio commercials to them prior to running them on the air. it's light weight, looks professional and is really easy to use. Works great with the TASCAM DR-05 or any mp3 player.

Such a great idea!
It's perfect! I use a Tascam DR-40 with it and it simply is a great way to just hear your playback without headphones! Works as a great carry case as well! I think it's awesome....sounds really good too!

Works great.
I bought this as a gift for my father and he says that it works great. He loves to take his recorder into the woods- this makes it easy to carry, and he can plug it in and listen to it as well.
