Soof (Scholastic Gold) [Weeks, Sarah] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Soof (Scholastic Gold) Review: An amazing follow up to So B. It - Wow. I just finished this book. Ohhhhh man. This one made me cry. But in a good way. I connected with both Aurora and her mother Ruby in this story: as a weirdo who different and didn’t have an answer to why; and as a mother with three children on the spectrum who worries constantly for their future and their day to day life. I came across this book randomly. I had read “So B. It” years ago and scrolling through Prime Video I saw that it had been made into a movie. I googled the movie to look up some of the actors and saw a google suggestion of the sequel to the book. I was surprised to see it had a follow up and immediately purchased it. I literally finished it in one sitting. Every time I paused to cry, I would have to remind myself “These are just characters. The story isn’t real.” And I tried to talk myself into finishing it later but I couldn’t. I had to know what happened next. This book hit me in the feels and hit me hard. But it was a beautiful read. I definitely recommend this book. Review: So satisfying! A perfect companion! - By a perfect twist of fate, this book came out the exact week we started our So B. It unit this year. And I have to say, I’m a HUGE fan of Heidi, but I LOVE Aurora. A quirky, fiery-mouthed tomboy, Aurora is tired of being the Apple her mother’s eye, especially if that means constant hovering. After a tragedy at home adds more complications to Aurora’s unique life, she struggles to find value in her place in the family, convinced her mom liked Heidi better. With tons of artful nods to the original story, this book has great lessons and is well-crafted to be the perfect companion.

My daughter just finished the book and came to me crying. She NEVER cried before reading a book. This one hit her good! She loved it!! So sweet and she said the authors writing is so explicit and detailed she can imagine everything vividly!
