Dog Tags (The Brazen Boys) (Volume 4)

4.5 Stars.Another Daryl Banner book at it's finest. Last night I was in a M/M Novella/short story kick and decided it was high time I read Daryl's newest Novella. I wasn't disappointed. It was unique, quirky, and lovable.Daryl has a way with words like no other. It's impossible not to love his books, just because of that. I think the man could write a cookbook and i'd read it.I must admit that I feared this wouldn't end in an HEA. Though I am happy it did.The only thing that didn't hit it on the head for me was the erotic part. It wasn't as developed as I preferred.Oh, and I love the covers to this series. They're simple but they easily draw you in. They scream, hunky men.

As stated, it was predictable , but it developed the plot line which followed an erotic path and kept it there! This would make a great gay movie as it would show that the characters have some depth to their feelings for each other and that this love affair started years before when they were classmates and thats when Brandon fell in love with him. Of course the other didn't realize Brandon's feelings he only could fantasize his sexual attraction to Brandon, never realizing that it would turn into reality!.

Great storyline! Daryl Banner has a gift for turning the most basic of situations into stories that keep pulling you along, wanting to know what happens next. The characters are totally believable, and Banner describes everything from their inner feelings and motivations, to the most intricate setting detail, with deft artistry. This is only my second Banner book, but I'm hooked. I'd write more here, but I need to get started on the next one!

I have read most of the books in Daryl Banner's Brazen Boys series and they are ALL excellent. My favorite in this series is Dog Tags.The two main characters are both so sexy, each in his own way. They come together gradually and when they do connect it is hot magic!This is a story that is very sexy and very romantic...A total feel good read!

I love a first date, the first sexual encounter, the coming to know one another, but then I want to fall in love for a long, long time. A couple months hot sex just isn't fulfilling. Though it does make an engaging story.

One of the best I've read in the m/m short story genre. Good plot & great characters, even for such a short item. Highly recommended for those who enjoy a well-done quick read.

I enjoy this man's writing. I have yet to be disappointed by any of Daryls work, you should de definitely read this story as well as his other creative works of art as they are exquisite and immensely enjoyable.

A feel good story of a young man who realizes his every dream when the soldier next door comes home on leave. Having grown up as neighbors but hardly interacting all their lives a world of awakening occurs for both men
