Fun little cube. Way better than the kind you get at the store. Great for beginners.
I'm a novice cuber. I solve the 3x3, and that's pretty much it. My daughter got a standard one you can get at the big-box stores for her birthday, and it fell on me to learn how to solve them so I could teach her! While getting the hang of the cube, I noticed how much the cube stuck and was slow to respond to movement. After spending a few weeks solving the cube, my hands were getting faster, but the cube kept slowing me down. I decided to go ahead and spring for a better cube, but $30+ for a cube seemed too high for me.This little cube was $8 bucks. Perfect!!Not only is the movement fast, it is smooth, and a flick will move a whole row (or two, depending on what you're trying to do) one quarter turn. I was astonished at how smooth. Well, I've had to give the cube to my daughter, because as she gets better, she now gets frustrated with the store-bought one... I can't say I blame her. So now I will have to get another one, but at that price, it won't break the bank or make you feel buyer's remorse. So pick up this cube! In fact, even if you're starting out, don't bother going to the Red Circle store or the Blue Wall store either. Get this one. You won't regret it.

The go to entry level speed cube
If you want to get serious about the speedcubing hobby, this the best under $10 cube out there and is the standard when it comes to entry level cubes. You will get well below 30-seconds before the cube becomes the limiting factor, and this cube can get sub 10 times in the hands of an expert.Be aware that while it was the Rubik's brand is the first, it lives by its name recognition and is considered to be an inferior cube, often at twice the price. Also, there are a lot of generic cubes out there under various names and prices, often rebranded versions of the same thing. Yuxin, MoYu, QiYi, and Gans are the current leading brands.Stickers vs. stickerless is a matter of preference. Stickless wears better, but some people like to be about to change up the stickers on their cubes.
