I like it, but why so expensive??
I like this sleep sack. I'm not 100% sure that it vastly improved my babies sleep, but I'll go with it. I like the feel of the fabric, the zipper access and the weight of the fabric (not too heavy or too light).I have two issues though:(1) My baby is 8 months. I ordered the 6-15 month size and he's already almost out of leg room. He's a "big baby" but not THAT big. I expected to at least get to 12 months or so before having to size up.(2) It's pricey. I like to have two of things like this so if we have a spill or diaper leak I can wash one while we use the other. But for this price, I can't justify buying a back up. Especially when he's already outgrown the one we just got like a month or two ago. So when this is in the laundry, I use my old sleep sack as a back up, which breaks the consistency of the "egg weight" and probably makes it even less effective. When this one no longer fits, I'll probably just go back to my old sleep sack that was like $10-12. I don't think his sleep quality was improved much if any, so while I like the weight and comfort of this sack, I just can't justify the cost. For some reason all these companies try to market their items as some kind of God-send for babies and charge so much for them. Then all of us first time moms feel like we're missing something special and buy it, then by the time you realize it's all just marketing crap and it's the same thing you could get for 1/3 of the price, it's too late to get your money back.Long story short - there are cheaper options on the market that I would say do the job just as well (at least for my baby). Save your money and get those.

Effective
Great weighted sleep sack. Effective and helped my baby sleep in the crib. So far washes well and stayed soft as long as you follow the washing instructions.

Definitely helps
It’s not a magical fix and my baby still wakes up every 3-4 hours to eat but it absolutely helped get her off of me and into her bassinet to sleep! I can tell she feels comforted by it and is able to sleep long stretches in the bassinet when before she’d last maybe 20 minutes and she’d end up sleeping on my chest and I wouldn’t be able to sleep. I much prefer getting 3-4 hours of sleep at a time over nothing!

Nice sleepsack, didn't do wonders
Feels good and seems like good quality. Love the 2 way zipper, makes diaper changes at night easy. The weight is very light, did not create the same comfort as my hand on babys chest.

The best option for weighted sleep wear for babies
Do your research on sleepsacks and weighted sleepwear. They have not been proven to be safe for sleep. We like nested bean because it does not weigh arms or legs down allowing baby to stir, and be startled which is protective against SIDS in younger babies. The weight on just the upper body is plenty to help settle and soothe baby.We started out with 2 of the nested bean transitional swaddles when our baby was 6 weeks old. We chose nested bean because we weighed benefit versus risk of weighted sleep wear, and this does not put weight on babies whole body which is safer compared to the Merlin sleep suit and dreamland. We didn’t buy the sleep sack because he had a well established bed time routine and was sleeping through the night. He is almost 6 months now, and the past few weeks he has been hard to put down for naps and bed time. He started frequently waking up through the night again as well. We loved our transition swaddles so we decided it was time to buy the sleep sack. First night back in nested bean he went down quickly and stayed asleep for 10 hours. We’ve had it for few a days now and again we are so impressed with how quick and how well the sleep sack works.

Made by gods
My 6 week old was having a really hard time settling in his bassinet at night. He would be up all night fussing. The first night we tried this sleep sack, he slept in 4 to 5 hour increments. We’ve been using it for almost a week and a half now and we are still getting the same results. It’s amazing!!!! Mom and dad are finally getting some much needed rest!!!!

Love this brand
We hired a sleep consultant for our daughter at 6 months and she suggested a weighted sleep sack. We went with nested bean and from the first night on, our daughter has slept through the night. We previously tried everything else but my baby simply wilder stay asleep for longer than an hour or so. Our daughter is 16 months now and still sleeping soundly through the night. Also helps with safe sleeping when baby is young since they shouldn’t have blankets in the crib. Honestly I’m not sure she’ll ever be able to task asleep without being in her sleep sack. She’ll be that big kid still using one heheh.

Great product. It worked for our baby
It reallly helped with my baby’s (3 month) self soothing. She used to wake up a lot during the night asking for her pacifier and ever since we started using it she almost never wake anymore. Great quality also. But it is a thin blanket, for winter months we will probably need to look into the winter selection instead of the classic one.

My baby loves it!
Super light material for summer, seems to work great for my baby as soon as I put it on her at night she goes to sleep great wearing it!

Zen Sack- Pros and Cons
I found this really helpful in 2 things; 1- helping to integrate the bedtime routine… after bath when this goes on top of my baby’s undershirt (summer now so with 1.0 TOG wearing a onesie would get really hot for my baby + my baby overheats quickly), he knows bedtime is coming. What is good is he also sleeps without it but the benefit of putting it on leads to point #2- he can’t push it off him in the middle of the night like a regular blanket. So he won’t wake up due to feeling cold because it stays on.The downside to it: the description does not state the TOG… we received it and it’s 1.0 TOG which is okay for April-Mid May in Canada but nearing the end of May now and it’s pretty warm for my little one. Another downside is the sizing. I’ve been using the looser clip since the 3rd week after buying it and I got size 0-6 mos. I now have to keep the zipper down or it would be too tight on his shoulders and arm pits. As I said he’s almost 4 months so it’s not even going to fit him until 6 months. For the price it should be better manufactured to last for the designated time. Maybe adding another clip/snap to the top would make it fit better?Overall it’s a good experience using it but if these adjustments are made, my experience would be much better!

My baby likes it.
Very good for spring and summer. But it is 4 inches is bigger than winter model same size for 6 to 15 months. So a bit big for my baby. But we didn't have problem with that.
