This is my husband’s favorite hair gel. Sometimes it’s hard to find in stores.

I bought this for the curly girl method. I had DevaCurl Ultra Defining Gel and LOVED it. However, I could not keep buying it because it's so expensive. Also, I feel like it made my hair super dry and I had a TON more hair fall than usual. After seeing LA Looks Extreme Sport gel recommended over and over again, I decided to try it. I got 3 whole bottles for less than half of what I paid for one bottle of Devacurl. I apply it the same way as Devacurl - soaking wet hair, still in the shower. I use this after a curl milk/leave in conditioner. Put it in, scrunch, plop, scrunch and don't touch till it's dry. Then scrunch out the crunch. I DO get a gel cast with this, however it doesn't have whatever makes my hair ultra curly from devacurl. It defines my waves more than gives me curls. LA Looks doesn't not dry my hair out, at all! It's a little harder to SOTC but that's okay. Aside from not giving me curls like I had with ultra defining gel, it doesn't refresh like Deva does, so I have to wash it more often. That's okay too though, because I only didn't wash often with DC because it was so expensive lol. This gel itself is just OKAY - I don't love it, I don't hate it. I'll probably buy it again whenever I run out. It's not perfect and doesn't give me the best results I know I can get, but for the price and less hair fall AND my hair not feeling like straw, I think the pros outweigh the cons with this gel. Especially for the price. Will you get devacurl curls with this? Idk - I didn't. Will you have more dollars because you bought this instead of Devacurl? Yes!!! Also, I should add - I didn't like this gel at all the first few times I used it. It took about two weeks for my hair to get used to it I think. It's okay now though! Update to the longest review ever! -- my hair just wasn't loving this stuff. BUT after a 1-2 inch trim, I have bouncy curls again with this LA Looks gel and would actually compare this to Devacurl, with the exception of the refresh. Not too shabby though!!!🥳

Curly hair is not for the weak, but this gel has changed the way I approach the care and styling of it, as the more expensive products perform much worse, this gives an excellent cast, no shine and great hold.

Great value and super strong hold for people with wavy or curly hair that is hard to control like I have, but it might not work for others.

Tengo muchos años, usando ese gel, comprando en USA, el que recibi, no tiene el mismo color, ni aroma y lo peor ni la fijación...qe alguien me explique,
