Great for Homemade Dog Food
I purchased these for the sole purpose of storing homemade dog food. As I’ve been unable to find a commercial dog food that contains decent ingredients, I’ve resorted to making my own. Every Sunday, I cook up large batches to last through the week, with the main ingredient being beef steak. There’s also sweet potatoes and a small quantity of certain veggies, fruits, nuts and supplements added in. Ziplock bags are not recyclable in my area, so we stopped using them in our house. We have plenty of other reusable bags around, but I didn’t want to mix it up. The thought of using meat and organ soaked bags for my salad really grosses me out. Plus, most of our regular ones have the separate closure bar, which is honestly more work to clean, dry and put away. These have become the ideal, low cost, eco-friendly (or at least less destructive than disposable) solution for fresh dog food storage bags. The one downside: They can’t be placed in the dishwasher. This is revealed in the packaging (I don’t think it’s mentioned in the product description). This would probably bother me if they were for human use, but they’re for the dog. I mean, the guy eats rotten vegetables out of the compost whenever he gets the chance (AKA: Someone forgets to replace the lid ), so I think he can handle some “less than sterile” conditions. To expedite the cleaning process, I try to wash them out immediately after they’re emptied. They get a good washing with the hottest setting the tap will provide and are air-dried inside out. So far, this process has worked out well and the bags have held up to regular use for over 3 months now with no signs of breakage in the horizon.

Very useful.
Keeps cookies fresh. Easy to clean. Not too hard to open and close like regular disposable plastic ones or the higher priced big name brand reusables. Seems to be a very secure seal, though I haven’t tested it for leaks. In addition, I’ve used these for storing things like batteries, socks, underwear, my old electric toothbrush, you name it.Beats the heck out of disposables, keeps less plastic out of the landfills.

Great but not perfect.
These are a little thicker than your cheap silicone bag but not as thick as zip-top or stasher bags. They are not the same size as most quart or gallon bags and due to being a little more rigid, you can't hold as MUCH.They have been leak proof for me. I have even frozen soup in them as well as brined meat.I would not suggest leaving them in a sink or eating out of them. I would not suggest trying to stuff them full. Everything has its breaking point. For cleaning, I rinse them out and add soap and warm to hot water, seal it, wash the outside and it's been generally degreased by the time I rinse them. I don't have a bag rack, so I just fit them over small plates to hold them up.I wish you could get the bags in like-sizes as a set. I like using these for freezing and we mostly use quart bags.

Easy to use and reuse often
I love how fresh my fruits and veggies and cheeses stay with these bags. They are easy to clean and it feels great to not have to throw them away. There are many other uses as well, other household items I store in them like toiletries and make-up. I use for my dog's treats and extra food that I keep in the car.It feels great to not create more "waste and plastic" and to make the effort of a better choice. Once you start with just a few, you will find more uses and order more.

Great for reducing waste and saving $... a very cheap but great product
So far so good... waiting to see how long they last but I love having the ability to reuse my bags and not only reduce waste but save money. I wish they were a bit more flexible, I worry about puncturing the sides of the bag when putting hard items into them but so far this hasn't happened. They zip fairly easily and as of right now I would definitely recommend trying this product out. The sizes are perfect for any type of storage I need. Also, they surprised me with a free gift. Win win.

Robust bags
These are decent bags and I would’ve given more than three stars, but they are extremely difficult to open due to their thickness.

Bought more!
I originally bought these for my daughter that is all things reusable. After using some of hers for awhile I bought my own supply of them and plan on getting more for other gifts. I have done everything from freezing meat and cook ahead dump meals for the Instant Pot to holding fresh cut vegetables and fruits. Thickness is the perfect amount, seal has never leaked and the bag shapes are even better than throwaway plastic bags. Best part, they have not stained at all even when using tomatoes and other staining foods. Highly recommend!

Great reusable bags
A little hard to open, but just just means they seal well...Great for freezer...not for cooking or dishwasherEdit: there’s a little card with the package that says you get a free gift of a drying rack....I’ve been waiting on one for 2 months and recently with this purchase, I’ve been waiting 2 wks...so don’t hold your breath for that :(UPDATE: I did actually receive one of the drying racks from my most recent purchase...took a couple of weeks, but it got here. Not sure about the one from the first order still.
