GatesGates 48C4289 G-Force C12 Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) Belt

I AM IMPRESSED!!!!! I believe this belt was the cheapest belt available on AMAZON at the time which is the ONLY reason i purchased it. I’ve always just assumed that price and quality went hand in hand, but when something cost almost half the price and it’s something that’s gonna break anyways then why not. When you’ve got 172hp available, lets just say that I expected to break belts much faster than I was accustomed to. Prior to ordering this GATES G-Force belt, I’ve broken 3 others(the original belt the manufacturer put on it at the factory along with 2 other OEM belts from BRP) since I purchased it brand new just before Father’s Day this year. With the belt so far I’ve been a few really great rides including LACTEMBER FEST 19 @ MOCCASIN CREEK & the TAYLOR COUNTY BOONDOCKS and have put exactly 305 miles so far and (knock on wood) it has NOT broke on me......yet. This is a big difference when you compare it to the belts prior to it that cost me $150+ and at best getting nothing more than 200 miles out of it. This isn’t my first machine nor is it my first broken belt. Regardless of what we ride, best believe we “SEND IT”, so breaking a few belts on this particular machine was to be expected. I WILL continue to purchase GATES G-Force CVT Drivebelts as long as the quality doesn’t ever go down and the price doesn’t ever drastically go up!!! When it does break(bc it will) I will write another review especially if the on I replace it with doesn’t perform as well as the first one. Maybe I got lucky going cheaper this time, but who knows. We will just have to wait and see.

Works just as good as a oem belt

Love these belts, cheaper than the BRP belt and I get better grab from these too. I use it under hard conditions playing in the deep powder snow and have never had any issues with the Gates belts.
