Radio Flyer Deluxe Big Flyer, Outdoor Toy for Kids Ages 3-7, Red Toddler Bike

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas. He is almost 4 years old. This was the perfect size for him. It was easy to assemble and very well made. I like how the seat is adjustable so he can ride it for a few years. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I was not overly impressed with the quality of this bike when I started putting it together. Just molded, hollow, plastic, with little pieces of plastic floating around inside making it rattle. But my 4 year old had outgrown his tricycle but wasn't interested in learning to ride a two wheeler yet. I had purchased an expensive low rider "big wheel" style bike for my older son but it is too big for my 4 year old. I bought this one because the red strip on the front wheel is supposed to add grip--it doesn't really do that. I thought it was rubber but it's just the same plastic in a different tread. But, my son loves it. It fits him perfectly (he is 43" tall and 45lbs) and he was able to ride it right away with no help. Now, just a couple days later, he is able to skid around our cul de sac and do little tricks. I can't imagine these wheels are going to hold up to that kind of play but we'll see how long it lasts. It slips quite a bit on smooth concrete but does fine on the asphalt. And now that the wheels aren't perfectly smooth it grips even better. I recommend the bike overall and will update if it falls apart too quickly to keep that suggestion.

This is a nice toy. It's made well. The boys love it. I do wish they included all the parts to put the wheel on. I would purchase this again. We did get the part sent to us and it is a nice toy.

While I'm confident it will ride fine and function well, when I went to assemble it for my 3 year old so I we could give it to him all ready to literally roll on Xmas morning the bag with the some of the smaller parts was open in the box so parts were loose. A screw for one of the front wheel attachments was gone as was the nut for the bolt that connects the front wheel holder to the body. Fortunately, I have just enough spare stuff like that laying around that I made due. The only other downside is that you can totally hear and feel a ton of debris on the plastic hollow parts. Like all the debris from the drilled holes and then some went down into the plastic body and the front wheel holder thing. Like a resounding amount. All in all, it's a big wheel and my boy will love it. But as I assembled it I was kinda like wtf about 5 times about the product's shortcomings and overlookings.

I bought one for each of my grandsons, aged 5 and 8. They absolutely love them! Let me tell you, they take a beating. They are very well made and we were very easy to put together. We live on a farm and have lots of hills for them to go down. Their favorite place to actually ride them is our gravel driveway...part of it is uphill. Highly recommend...just love watching them ride it over and over again. I had "hot cycles" like this when I was young. Brings back wonderful memories of hours upon hours of fun.

This is the second big wheel we have gotten. The older style we have has solid black tread for the wheel, but seems like this red tread is an improvement. My 4YO loves it. It’s a tad big for him, but he is wearing 4T bottoms and 5/6 tops right now. When he hits 5T bottoms, it will be perfect. My other son is 6YO and wears size 6 bottoms right now—he zooms around on this thing. Loves it. My 8YO daughter likes it, too, but she is starting to enjoy a beginner mountain bike, as well.

I bought this for my 4 year old nephew. He was absolutely thrilled when he open the box. He had so much fun riding around in the driveway and the little cul-de-sac in front of his house. What's nice is that he has plenty of room to grow in to. He'll have plenty of years of fun with his radio flyer. I am very pleased with this purchase and so in my nephew!!

I was so excited to give these to my toddlers for their third birthday, but they are too short. They still love scooting around on this and love pretending it’s a motor cycle, but probably hold off until 3 1/2 to 4 y/o unless you have a little giant. *Update* my boys ride them every time we go outside! From the age of 4 when their feet reached the peddles, till now almost 6 years old. They love them and still have a little space to grow with them. I would say kiddos could probably ride these till they’re around to 7 years old. Definitely worth the money

Great looking toy. But took quite a while to fix. Perhaps the design team can improve and streamline on the assembling parts/process.
