Waddell 2508 8" Taper Round Legs

Good leg, but the end cap is a little cheap looking. Expected for this price though. The wood, however, is inconsistent as sometimes it looks like ash, and sometimes it looks like some other smooth wood, with almost no grain. These don't take stain very well if you are trying for a dark color to simulate walnut.

The leg is decent. I needed a leg that had a pivoting foot. I assumed this would have that but its more aesthetic then functional so I had to remove the foot, drill out the end, install an insert nut and screw in a higher quality foot. I was replacing legs on a midcentury chair with legs with an angle of 70 degrees. The wood of the leg stains well but beware that the color of the raw wood isn't the same on all the legs. I ordered an 8 pack and they were all different shades.

Very nice quality, but sometimes you get Oak, sometimes you get Birch, sometimes you get Ash. But all the legs are the same exact size, and they are very well made.

Purchased and only received one leg, don't buy this. You can get it at Ace Hardware
