Fisher-Price Butterfly Shape Sorter, baby blocks activity toy for ages 6 months and older

I bought this for my grandson to have when he came to visit. He was 7 mos and had a great time with it. I do think it is one of his favorite toys as I let him take it home with him. It's bright and colorful and easy for little hands to hold and wee made.

I see a lot doesn't like the lid that comes off easily. But from another perspective, my almost 9 month old loves being able to just lift the lid to get the shapes as we sort through them together as best as we can at this age. Makes it sooo much nicer that she can grab the kid off herself. ^.^

This is a delightful, nonelectronic toy that is well designed for the 10+ month old baby. It has a flatter bottom than similar products which allows a sitting infant better control against tipping/spilling. It is simple and the colors are nice; the top fits easily. I love it for my little guy!

I love Fisher-Price toys! I'm a grandmother in my 70's, and this is the kind of toy I had for my children when they were little. (In fact, I still have a few Fisher-Price toys from the 1970's and 1980's!) This toy doesn't have batteries, sounds, or flashing lights. It's quiet!!!!! It's a fun toy that lets kids figure out things for themselves.

This is a very cute shape sorter. I'm still waiting for my daughter to be interested in putting the shapes back in the container but I know that will happen eventually. It was annoying that the lid didn't stay on because her favorite part of the toy when we got it was taking the lid off and emptying all the shapes and then once that happened she wasn't interested in it anymore. SO, I bought sheets of magnets with adhesive and cut them into thin strips and adhered them to the edge of the lid and container, which worked well enough. My daughter can still take the lid off with some effort but it's a little harder and it's not always falling open like it used to. It would've been nice if fisher price would've just thought about this to begin with and saved me the trouble, but I'm still happy I bought it and look forward to seeing her learn to play with it more.

Just gave this to my 10 month old for Easter. She loves the shapes and can open and explore the butterfly on her own. She loves it. The little butterflies face rotates and she is spinning it like crazy. This was a great purchase for the price and would be the perfect size to fit on a lap on a long car drive! Would purchase again. Will update if there are future issues.

This sorter is perfect for our little girl. She can easily get the shapes in and the lid comes off easily for her to try again on her own. Also love the fact everything is plastic and easily washable. It can be easily taken with you due to size as well

I was kind of ify about it because the base did not click on and I thought it did but my son can use it it different ways like the top part for sorting or the bottom for putting items and taking out. The head of the butterfly turns left or right. Its plastic so I feel the price could have been a little lower but overall highly satisfied.

Eine schöne Sortierbox, hat mir besser als die normalen Eimer gefallen. Der Deckel ist jedoch so locker, wird sofort abgerupft (Baby 10M). Sortiert wird aber jetzt eh noch nicht, es wird lieber ausgeräumt und im Wohnzimmer verteilt.

Love this! It’s way cheaper then the other block sorter toys and it works just as well. The butterfly is rather inviting and friendly looking so my daughter is into it.
