Frog Fuel Power Energized Protein Shot, 80mg Caffeine, Berry, 24 pk

I have now went through five boxes, so I think I have enough data to safely write an objective review. Here’s how I use this stuff - I use bulk protein and meat for my main intake for maintaining and growing muscle mass. I use the FF to supplement protein, but also for the collagen and connective tissue maintenance. I am not a scientist, but an off the shelf middle age man in decent shape. I’m also of a larger stature. 6’6” 240. I lift heavy, and I run, AND NOTHING HURTS. It doesn’t get any easier than this. It’s totally portable, which is big for me, I can take them to work, or just take a couple with me while I am out, and they take up minimal space. Taste is not bad at all, and it’s easily digestible. When you’re trying to hit your protein numbers, and nothing sounds good, or you don’t feel like eating, this stuff hits the spot. I’ve been taking 1-3 a day for the last five months, and this is the only variable I have changed, and nothing hurts, and I feel like I’m recovering good to where I can do back to back workouts. I do stretch before every workout though. I really think this stuff works. Gains ain’t cheap.

I use this product almost daily after my midday workout for recovery and energy boost to get through the rest of the day. I highly recommend has kind of a sour bitter taste but it grows on you and it's only a quick shot.

One of the best ways to get extra protein without extra calories. So easy to digest and the taste is decent. I've ordered these for a couple years now and will continue to the price is a little high, but it's worth it.

The best tasting, easily digestible post workout product I have used.

I ordered this because I'm going on a cruise and didn't want to bring a giant tub of protein powder. I do believe that the stuff does what it claims to, but the taste is absolutely rancid. The name is fitting! It tastes how I imagine it would taste to lock a frog in a swamp. The after taste is somehow worse! I've tried a lot of different protein powders, pre-workout powders, shilajit, etc. and somehow this takes the cake for worst tasting and lasting aftertaste. Seriously, if you're good with choking down something that tastes like a frog's testicles on a summer day in a Louisiana swamp, this stuff is for you! The first one reminded me of childhood trauma and repressed memories. Like when my brother dared me to eat a tadpole when I was like 6. I just want to clarify, my review is purely about the taste. I brought it with me on my cruise and it worked as it is supposed to! I was able to take a couple pouches with me when I went on excursions, just to keep my protein intake up and get some energy back for the more strenuous excursions. Just as I had intended to! A plus side to the taste, it's pretty hard to be tired when the inside of your mouth tastes like a frogs taint! So it kind of doubled as a "pre-workout", probably even more effective than smelling salts. 🤣 All in all, the product works and the company stands behind it! If you can get past the taste, or don't have child-like tastebuds like I do, get it! It doesn't leave you feeling bloated or like you just chugged a gallon of milk because your buddy dared you to. Updating my review to 4 stars since they have a sense of humor and could laugh at my ridiculous review.

I've been using this for a long time now, tastes great and haven't had any gout issues either, which some protein supplements have caused me in the past.

This product is clean, convenient and fast acting. The only downside is that it does not taste great and leaves a pretty bad aftertaste. I have been lifting for more than 30 years, and have taken every foul-tasting protein known to man. The taste can be easily chased with a flavored liquid so I do not consider this a real issue.

Best in Collagen Type Protein to go. Expensive but I feel is worth it. Made by a former US Navy Seal.
