Hermosa

I don’t know how she does it, but Yesika finds a way to speak directly to your soul through her poetry.My friends and I are constantly sharing poems that speak to whatever we’re going through at the moment. She says all the things were feeling, but don’t know how to use words to express.What a gifted poet. I can’t wait to go back and re-read this. That’s how good it is!

I've never been to California, I didn't grow up in the US yet there's so much I found of myself, my girlfriends, my mother in this book. I gifted this book to myself and hope more women can do the same for themselves or do the other women they love in their lives, Yesika una poeta ciertamente HERMOSA.

I love Yesika's poetry. She always makes me feel.

Another great book by Yesika, my absolute favorite author who made me love poetry. In school all we learn about is poetry written by white people. I could never relate therefore, never enjoyed it. After discovering Yesika's work I'm a big fan and have a new persepctive on poetry.

I love this book. It is getting me through some very hard and dark times. Yesika speaks to my soul and understands my heart. I recomend this book if you are going through heartbreak or loss or even if you aren't.

This was an achingly beautiful collection of poetry. Her deep love of her home in LA and her masterful detailing of the intimacies of relationships and heartache really moved me. I can’t wait to read more of her work!

Good book

This book is one of three (I recommend getting all three) just ordered the last of the trilogy. Yesika’s poetry’s so deep and beautiful. I laughed, cried and everything in between. A must buy.
