I love the act of taking a walk through this book. I find myself coming back to it again and again. My first reading was just to contemplate the images and to feel the spaces or paths the author/photographer is walking. On additional readings I focused on the text - poetic musings on the nature of wandering. On additional reading text and image goes together to form a contemplative space, a kind of poetic documentary experience. The book breaks new ground in this way, pushing into a kind of visual poetic narrative experience.
