Work perfectly using with extension cord and ceramic coil heater disc for reptile cage. The ceramic coil has stand light bulb male base so ya screw it into this bulb socket which then plugs into the extension cord. I use the heater coil under outdoor plants covered with fabric to protect against hard freezes . Well made enough for careful use, plastic could break hard use. These come in handy and price is reasonable.

not to exciting but sure did what I neededneeded to finally get a couple of home circuit panels labeled rightbought a bunch of these and some cheap bulbs and stuck them all overgreat for that

They do exactly what I bought them for, so I am completely satisfied. They are almost too tight going into the outlets I use, but that's better than too loose.It did occur to me that indiscriminately leaving these around children could be a mistake. It would be easy to stick one in a wall outlet without a bulb and get a nasty shock.
