I hung these from my shop ceiling laced up with paracord over to the wall and a light weight hand winch to raise a pallet full of flowers to overwinter them under a skylight. A drop of oil on each and they work like a charm. Gets the pallet of flowers off the floor and out of the way.

Seems like a well made block, I use them for roller shades and they're hard to find at this price. The stainless was a plus.

I have four anchor trolleys on my kayak, and eight of these. They are super smooth, and certainly strong enough. The trolley moves without any problems, and I'm actually very glad that I stuck with four trolleys instead of going back to two. These seem like they will hold up very well, and we're actually exactly the same as what was on there before, minus the markings. It is worked very well so far each time I've taken the yak out.

Bought these to make a pulley system to hang kayaks in garage in winter. I rigged them with 4 pulleys, 2 on sling that holds boat and one on each eye hook in ceiling joists. Kayak weights about 75# so let's apply the laws of physics. Kayak = 75#, divide by 2 for each sling= 37.5# then each puller(2) should split that load in half again so 37.5+2= 18.75# .18.75#+2= 9.37# . We will just call it an even 10 lbs on each rope to raise the boat up to ceiling, right? When I wrapped the rope around a gloved hand, because otherwise it would cut into my skin, it was all I could do to pull one rope. The pulleys roller locks up with more than a half pound of tention. I removed the pulleys and just ran rope through carabineers that pulleys hung on, got out my fish scale and it took between 13-15# to raise boat so friction without pulley was about 30-50% of load but pulleys bottomed out 60# fish scale and didn't even move. Now I have to wait for more parts to finish my project....shame on seller for putting garbage on amazon

The pulleys were purchased for a self designed retractable sun shade system to use in conjunction with 1/8" coated wire rope and work superbly. I've used these types over the years for various applications such as a dog run, canopy winching, and a clothes line. Won't rust, need no lubrication and run freely at a good price.

Good value and I was concerned with all the made in China junk but these pulleys so far seem to be strong and work well. I would buy again.

Small but heavy duty

Not bad not great. They are smaller than I anticipated and the roller in them doesn’t roll very well. I’m using them as a ceiling mounted hoist system for kayaks. Each kayak is 50lbs and has 5 pulleys on each one. Lots of resistance on the pulley. Would not buy for this heavy of an application again.
