If you have a burn, an infection, or just a major area of road rash that continues to ooze and causes all other bandages to stick, these can't be beat. Yes, you could probably create them cheaper out of a layer of 4X4 and some Vasoline, but these come sterile and prepackaged. When I mostly cut my toe off mowing the lawn, the docs were great at putting me back together again, but the lawnmower blade + my mowing shoes = a lot of bacteria, and no matter what you do, if you cut most of the way through your toe you'll have an infection when they close it up. These kept me from screaming as I changed the dressing twice a day for a month.

I recently had a couple toenails removed, including from one of my big toes. I was having issues with "non-stick" gauze sticking to the wound. This mesh dressing does the trick, although if you leave it more than about 12 hours, it will tend to stick, so change your wound dressing at least twice a day. Easy to cut-to-size. I find it best to cut a piece twice as big as you need, and fold it in half when applying to the area. This helps prevent the other parts of your wound dressing, such as rolled gauze, from sticking .

If I could give this product 10 stars I would. Purchased these for my 91 yr old Mother who was having major leg wound problems. All previous attempts to purchase other brands of non-stick gauze had not worked. After one use her wound improved mainly for the reason she was not having to peel gauze off the wound and disrupt the healing when she changed the leg wrap. She is so happy with these she wanted to make sure I wrote a review for her to let others know they really work.

Petroleum coated sterile gauze which helps wounds heal from inside out. Family have used this product with great success, I ordered on their recommendation and will continue to use. Delivered everything they advertise.

Better putting these over an abrasion, acts as a non stick barrier. Much easier to remove than gauze.

This product does not stick to an open wound and expedites the healing process. I have not found a comparable product to compare this with. Very highly recommended.
