DownIT Skull Shot Glass, Thick Base, 1.5 Ounce, Double Wall, Clear Glass

I collect skull-shaped, glass shot glasses and beer mugs and this is one of my favorites!The floating skull design is fantastic and guaranteed to grab the attention of the people drinking with you. It is an exceptional conversation piece seeing as people always ask about it and want to take a closer look at it.I have a very similar shot glass but it does not have a solid bottom like this one. Instead, the skull design is freestanding and open underneath. While this may not seem significant, it makes a difference in the durability and quality of the glass. Because this shot glass has a solid bottom, it feels sturdier and better made. Consequently, this shot glass lends a confidence in the way it holds that is not present in similar products with free-standing open bottom. If you have to choose between the two, choose this one. It is more durable and it is crafted from thicker glass, reducing the risk of breaking.

I bought 2, they are what you see in picture. Mine are larger than I expected (had regular sized shot glasses in my minds eye when I bought them, funny thing is they hold about the same amount of liquid goodness).The skulls impressions do look slightly offset from center, but they appear to straighten up more you drink from them (at least until you sober up). As a drinking vessel, they hold liquid and look interesting, what more can you ask for from a shot glass.I did not put 5 stars, because the 5th star is reserved for a shot glass that continually fills itself (now that would be worth 5 stars).

This shotglass is a wonderful replacement for the one I has previously that had broken. This glass did come intact and was not broken. It does have a heavier base, but due to the complexity of such an item it is not a very thick glass. It is lightweight and may break easier than normal glasses, but again, that is due to the fact that it does have to be thinner glass in order to produce the design inside. This is an enclosed base glass and does not have any opening on the bottom like some styles do. I would definitely recommend this product if you are not hard on your shot glasses, or you are looking to add to a collection.

The durability is amazing, this isn't some cheap glass it's heavy and looks sick! Very cool shot glass!

I gave this to a friend as a gift and she loved it.The skull doesn't really appear until you put liquid into it, which I thought was great. Unlike other similar glasses, it's made with real, quality glass and it doesn't chip and crack easily. The rim is kind of thick because of the double-wall construction of the glass. Basically, it's a novelty shot glass with the quality of a regular shot glass.Try mixing a dark purple shot - it looks spooky and fun!

It's a really nice shot glass and looks wicked when you fill it up. But I'm clutzy and broke it by trying to dry the inside so don't touch the inside if you don't have to! It'll crack and the skull will break off from the glass. But I really liked it so I ordered another one to replace the broken one.

They are very cool shot glasses, but the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the inner area of all 4 of the glasses I ordered has a white film on the inside. Unless there is something in the glass they all look dirty.

It was a little bigger than I expected, but still a really cool item. Bought this for two friends and a matching one for myself. They both loved it so no complaints here. Unlike other skull shot glasses I saw on amazon, this one had a base which I prefer.
