I have the Fellowes AeraMax 300 Air Purifier, and this carbon filter is exactly what is required for ensure proper air filtration. I love my Fellowes AeraMax 300 Air Purifier, and maintaining it means making sure you use the recommended filters and cleaning instructions. I am breathing so much better since I purchased the air purifier and the proper recommended filters.

They work better than you might think. Replacement filters fit and work perfectly.

Filter is fine, for what it is. I wish there was a way to wash/clean them. My neighbors make me have to use the air purifier 24/7, so they need to be replaced more frequently than I’d like. As a side note, whoever shipped my filter packs the last couple of time I ordered didn’t bother to tape the boxes closed. They arrive OPEN at both ends. Even after I ask them to put it in Amazon packaging. This time around, seller just shipped the box as-is and it arrived opened at both ends. Wtf. No tape. No nothing to secure the box.

At a price of about $36 at the time of this writing, these carbon filters for the Aeramax 300 Air Purifier are not cheap -- but then, you do get a pack of 4 for the money -- $8 each. (UPDATE 1.5 yrs later -- now only $15 a set, with Prime shipping -- less than 4-bucks each. I like that!) This is for the AeraMax 300 Air Purifier with Large Room Allergy and Asthma 4-Stage Purification , which, unfortunately, is now only available from 3rd party sellers on Amazon. I'm back to order more filters -- both hepa and the carbon filters that have to be changed more often. My wife has serious allergies, so we run it in the bedroom all night, and it makes a BIG difference in her ability to breathe. Back when these filters were more expensive, I tried to find a cheaper substitute for the carbon ones. You can buy sheets of material at Home Depot and cut your own. However, my price comparison shows that these, custom cut to size, are better from the original company. The AeraMax 300 is a good air scrubber with true hepa filtration, as well as the benefit of these carbon filters. We're now making sure we have a supply of both hepa, which we change each year, and the carbon pack, which we replace every 3 months. There are lights on the front panel of the machine that remind you when a change is due. They're on a timer in fact, so you may want to look at your filters and change them even more often when they look dusty and dirty. Just changed ours -- yeeechh! You need clean filters. Your unit won't do anything but blow dusty air if you don't have the filters in Recommended.

So easy to change! There the best. Value is most important to me. My spouse uses a c-pap machine at night , due to sleep apnea. When he would change the white filter, it would be black. Since buying the air purifier, the c-pap filter is clean/ white. Meaning I’m breathing the greatest air quality possible. I have asthma. It’s the best. Filters are easy to change & deal with. Before I was hand washing the old filters. Never again!!

Ich nutze diese Filter in einem älteren Modell (FELLOWES AP 300 PH PLASMATRUE) in welche sie anstandslos hineinpassen. So wie im AreaMax DX95 fungieren sie nicht nur als Aktivkohlefilter an sich, sondern insbesondere als Vorfilter vor dem HEPA-Filter. Alles in Allem sehr gute Qualität und ein günstiger Preis. Mit dem Viererpack hat man eine Zeit lang Ruhe mit dem Wechsel. Diesen führe ich nicht immer gleich durch, wenn das Gerät dazu auffordert, da für mein Dafürhalten auch eine längere Einsatzzeit kein Problem darstellt. Würde ich so wieder kaufen.
