Perfect for my off grid set up
This is perfect. Why didn't I get this sooner? I'm off grid and run two Victon inverters. Inverter 1 (l1) keeps getting overload warnings due to my Goulds 1/2hp jet pump surging. We pump water from our well to an orchard in addition to our house. Its taxing on our system and power bank. This thing works great. I did open the box and adjust the switches. No more surge! No more overload alarms on my Victron system! When you are off grid and fully reliant on your solar, this is a must.

Works BUT
Bought this to soft start a 1hp sallow well pump, used on an Eco Flow Delta 2 Max Solar Generator. Didn't even need it at first but when the pump shut down the AC output I hooked it up. seemed to work but I have still had some shut downs while using it. I believe the shut downs may be because the Generator was Also charging one of the extra batteries at the same time and the inrush current was greater than the generator could handle. I have not changed the factory setting. Still up in the air about this soft start, it is expensive, and is it really doing the job, only time will tell.

Failed after two months.
Installed this on my 120 volt, 1/2hp shop door motor. Worked perfect for about two months. Thought I had the answer but then it failed. My shop door would open about 2 feet and stop. I removed the soft start and the motor now works fine. I hope the company that makes this product contacts me. There must be a warranty on this product. I may have just received a defective unit. I would be happy to send it to the manufacturer for failure analysis if someone tells me where to send it. I would also like to try another unit. In summary; the product works great but failed shortly after installation.

Soft start for sump pump
I have a Pump Fuse Monitor installed which works very well and Intended to install a power ramp up device from Raymond Innovations – Torque Tamer GS10. Torque Tamer was to be supposed to be connected in line with the Pump Fuse device (Power – PumpFuse – Torque Tamer – Sump Pump). I was not sure if that would cause issues, so I sent emails to Raymond Innovations and Pumpfuse tech support. Raymondinnovations did NOT respond, Pumpfuse was extremely responsive and confirmed that Torque Tamer would be compatible with my intended set up Using the GS10's factory settings, it worked like a charm out of the box. Thank you Pumpfuse – Raymond Innovations owes you

Torque Tamer
This unit is ideal for quick start, high torque motors. The slower ramp up of the voltage always for the motor to engage more smoothly. No more fear of grinding teeth on racks.

Works on some motors but not all.
I purchased this soft starter to use with my table saw. But my shop is cold and the belt drive is stiff causing the motor to be under too much load at startup. With the soft starter the saw struggles to start turning and took more than 2 seconds to come up to speed. The lights flickers as well so I was disappointed. HOWEVER, I also have a water pressure pump for my home. The soft starter WORKS PERFECTLY on the pump. The pump is not under much load at low speeds so the pump comes up to speed in about the 2 seconds of the soft starter voltage ramp. NO MORE DIMMING LIGHTS when the water pump starts. 1 out of 2 is not bad. Be sure to consider the load the motor is under during the low RPM startup period and this soft starter should work well well the starting load is light.

It Works !!! and works very well !!!
I think it is very important to let you know that this unit WORKS !!! I am using it connected to a15amp water pump and works perfectly. I am using it configured as it came from factory, in other words, with the 2 second delay. The peaks when the water pumps starts, on the phase it is connected, have reduced significantly, not 100%. How am I measuring those peaks? simple: I have UPS devices connected to the same phase. Before installing this device every time the pump started the UPSs woke up and protected the connected devices. Now the pump starts and the number of times the UPSs wake up has been reduced.

Works as described
So far so good after a few months of installation. I can hear the difference in my water pump motor so I'm sure it will also extend its life and a lot easier on the inverter.

Excelente arrancador suave .
Excelente producto !!

Mitre Saw No Longer Trips AFCI
My mitre saw was always tripping my AFCI circuit breaker. Consistently, every time I pulled the trigger, the breaker would trip. I was thinking of pulling the breaker and not being code until I found this device. Yes, it's pricey, but it does the job and I never trip the breaker anymore. 10/10, would definitely recommend if you're in the same situation I am.

Works good, what i've been looking for.
I've been looking for a decently priced plug and play soft start for 5 years. Became more pertinent and saw this last week, checked the website, youtube videos, all reviews i could( check US amazon) and decided to fork out the $180 o_o and give it a go. Delivered in two days. Looks decently built and WORKS on everything i tested it on, drill press, ceiling hoist (1/2sec expected delay for the brake), random motors kicking around, drill..ect From what my incomplete power monitor can tell me, it ramps the voltage and not the frequency, which i think is fine for a soft start. My impression is that it will last (time will tell) and greatly reduce brown outs from tool start up. Thanks guys at innoraymond for making this, keep up the good work focusing on the product.

Beware when using with long running items like pumps.
Used this for almost 4 months with my well pump, but last night the 3+ year old well pump burnt out. It's a quality costly pump which should have lasted for at least a decade. The night before I had watered my lawn for over 2 hours, which keeps the pump running all that time (or cycles off then on frequently) I would not recommend this for a device which turns on/off often or runs for long periods of time.
