First Act FD5044 5-Piece Blue Flame Drum Set

This is a good set for kids who just want to bang around and pretend to play. We have 2 of these in different colors and they both started to fall apart after a few months of use. The hardware that holds the 2 smaller drums onto the bass drum are very poor quality. After only a few months, they don't tighten up enough to effectively hold the drums in place. One of our kits has actually even fallen apart to the point where the smaller drums swinging and flopping all over the place. Very disappointing, but I suppose it is to be expected at this price point. We're going to upgrade to a better kit this Christmas.

I thought I should let people know that there is no little chair included. I thought there was, cause I seen this set in Costco and it had a chair. So, there is the $10 difference I suppose. I bought this for my nephew who is 4 and wanted a drum set. It seems good, but its still new. As far as quality, it seems decent. All the kids were banging on it and just loved it. If I learn more about the quality, I'll post it.

Was going to purchase this online for my 7 year-old but wasn't sure of the size. Toys R Us had it originally for $100 but I got it for 1/2 price as a Christmas sales item. With it being so cheap, I bought it and surprisingly it is big enough. Also to my surprise, it didn't sound as "dinky" as I thought it'd be. My son is super happy with it, as am I. My 11 year-old daughter actually played it. It came with sticks, but sadly there was no drum stool. If he keeps interest, suppose I'll have to consider that investment.
